You can’t please everyone...so don’t try

It amazes me how every time coc adds a new feature that is absolutely amazing, there are still people who will find a reason to complain. The current completely irrational complaint: clan games. Look people...clan games is quite possibly the single most generous thing that the devs of this game has EVER done. All you have to do is play like you already do. What do you get for it? Free stuff! People complaining here about the number of points needed, or the option of rewards in the early tiers not being good enough need to SERIOUSLY consider quitting the game. I mean really people!!!! You do a couple raids and you get free gems, free loot, and most importantly FREE UPGRADE TIMES! How in gods name can you honestly sit back and complain about that!?!

The one one thing I think people are missing in regards to clan games is this: it exposes which people in your clan are active and which are not. Personally, I love that about the clan games. No longer can you sit back and just throw down 2 war attacks and disappear for 2 days. I’m willing to bet that the people complaining about the rewards or the number of points needed are the same people that never post replays in their clans (because they don’t have any) and never do fc’s but always ask when war is starting, only to spam the same 1-2* attack every 2 days. You know who you are coc players .

If you take anything away from this thread, let it be this: take a moment to recognize how good we actually have it. Because right now, there are more features available to us than there has ever been. As a player of over 3 years, I can honestly say that I never expected the devs to be as generous as they have been in the past 6 months or so. And frankly, I couldn’t be more grateful to them for it.

Complaining about something that needs fixing I.E. clouds, engineering etc is normal. Complaining about why something free is not good enough is next level complaining. Lol.

People here will call it "negativity, entitlement, etc", but that doesn't change the fact that it is feedback all the same and feedback is necessary for growth. I actually prefer to hear negative feedback about something I made instead of praise.

Really don't get why some people here get so bothered by complaints... If you are fine with everything then why not just ignore it and move on?

Btw to the OP, yes clan games are a great feature and it's free without taking away anything so I really like it and I have no complaints against it.

When you say, "it exposes the people who aren't active enough." Do you mean to imply Clash is not for casuals? I know of a few people that only progress their base by war loot, and collectors. They just don't have the time to play more than that. Is this game dead for them now because there's no place for them anymore? Seeing as they would either need to be active to help their clan with clan games or leave their clan and not be able to war- the thing they want to do most. I just find it sad that people who are 'exposed' as being too casual are now the bad guys.

I'm a very active player and made 2500 points on both accounts of mine, but those who didn't, i won't fault. Not everyone can do a significant share in the games.

I do agree people need to relax with all the complaining though, Supercell aren't the problem regarding this specific line of complaining, its the other players.
