I'll second that!
I get a few who will take all the expansion items in one fowl swoop (pardon the pun) and then hang around for more!
But hey ho! I put them in my RSS, therefore I couldn't and shouldn't complain. If I have agreed a trade with someone and someone else comes and snatches the item or items then that's the risk I have to take. I very rarely get upset with anyone, the only time I delete someone is when they have given up on the game and become inactive.

Level 68 Achievements. 101/108
Thank you, Gymgirl and MisterTEZ- and right back at you!And Tiggerr you are so right. I was always taught to ask a lot of questions, and it makes me sad to see someone made to feel bad because they don't know something and they asked. Thank you guys for being wonderful neighbors!!
We were ALL there at one time or another, not knowing and trying to figure out this game and all the little processes that go along with it. Heck, I still find out little things I never knew.
Hope you guys have as good a Monday as possible and keep up the laughs!![]()

I am a daily player who loves to help, tries to keep my shop filled with goodies for neighbors, and believes in my idea of fair play: help, be helped, and don't take advantage- meaning please don't be greedy. As a rule, I don't accept nor assist with sugar or dairy boats. Other than that, we're on. ~Wendy

It took me a while to find these fora and start reading them when I first started. So, As I don't do Facebook, I had no idea that people were trading items for quite some time, and happily bought everything I came across that I needed. I am sure there are a lot of players like me who are basically going it alone, and when we stumble across a RSS with something other than eggs, bacon, corn bread, muffins etc, think ourselves extremely fortunate and make the most of a "great find". I can understand the frustration of those who are trying to trade if they are thwarted by a quick fingered person who is unknown to them, but I am bemused that people get upset because one person buys all the goods they put on sale, because they want their goods to be evenly shared around. If you put something up for sale, then try and dictate who can and who can't buy from you - well to me that just seems a little naive. The person who purchases your entire offering may be buying so that they can fill someone else's boat. We all know that the DD is different for everyone and never contains the items you are desperately seeking for your boat. Similarly your friends and followers won't be able to find the items they want in their copy - or may simply not be able to afford to buy what they need. I buy what my followers need and the fill their crates for them whenever possible, and like to keep stock on hand so I can help no matter what it is their boat requires. If that means buying up large in one RSS, then I don't think I need to feel bad about buying everything in the stall, if I have room in my barn. I do try to repay by filling crates or watering the trees of those I buy from. Anyway, my point is you can't know what is driving the purchases of other players, and their motives just may be altruistic, so try to be happy that you have made some money and helped someone else, and maybe several someone's along the way.

I like to think she was trying to express that some games are so addictive and immersive as to be more than "just a game" and used one of the most incredible, addictive, and immersible games of all time to express that point. I laughed and said "oh yeah, Zelda is definitively more than a game! It's a way of life." when I saw that post. I immediately understood using Zelda to express that Hay Day is also a way of life to many players and for similar reasons.
I do hope this is the real reason for the picture.
