I just got my Inferno Towers up and I was wondering, would it be better to spend 8m on upgrading one of my Inferno Towers to level 2 or upgrade one of my level 3 X-bows to level 4? My third X-bow is already under construction (to level 2).

If you already have two inferno towers, don't bother upgrading them before anything else, lvl 1 inferno tower is enough for insta skip situation.
When someone makes a decision to attack your base, they won't bother with what level your inferno tower is...
Depends on your trophy range. Bows for farming. ITs for hunting.

Inferno tower doesn't really do good amounts of damage from lvl 1 -2 the difference isn't that high go with the xbow
It's better to even out your defensive unit upgrades because otherwise your attackers will heavily aim on your weakside (although it could be strategically used the other way around with traps and bombs).
That being said, it's always good to max out your xbows first before moving on to upgrading your infernos to level 2

I have to say no to that because it wouldn't match... 1 lvl 1 inferno tower and 1 lvl 2 inferno tower? Not to mention upgrading the inferno tower only makes it kill troops like 0.1 seconds faster. If you upgraded all 3 xbows then it would look nice and they would decimate tier 1 troops.
I think you want to upgrade the inferno tower because lvl 4 xbow only gets a +5DPS but ide still do the xbows first because inferno towers kick ♥♥♥ as is, they are like the last things to upgrade, but if your gonna push soon then yea i guess upgrade the IT
