Reward box stuck

A reward box is stuck behind the house. No matter where I click, I either get the blasted statistics report or I get nothing. I know it's there because I see the stars shooting up behind the house. Before, when this happened, I could get it to open eventually.

my question: if I give up, how long does it stay there? I'm not getting any boxes anywhere else at the moment. Or is there some other solution?

Tap under where you think it might be. Usually towards the side of the house. It may only take one tap or fifty taps (i hope its not licked after all that tapping) eventually you will get it though. After you get it out put a dead bush or unwanted decoration behind the house then this won't happen again. Good luck.

I have had success clicking on the chimney. I read that on here somewhere and I works for me.

I click on the shimmers when they are shooting up. Works like a charm. I put unwanted decorations behind it so it wouldn't happen but then I was not getting boxes as often. I removed the unwanted decorations and now happily get hidden boxes.

Thank you all so much! I tried your suggestions, and clicking on the shimmers worked on the 2nd try! I love this forum community, everyone is so helpful and I have learned so much by reading it.
