    The shield system cannot change either because many designs are hybrid. Where a concentrated 25%-30% attack could destroy the hall. Hybrid designs are popular to make players burn troops to get the hall and have next to nothing left to get resources. It's a clever protection strategy. Players should be shielded if their hall gets smashed here.

    Neither storage increase or shield change can fix it. As both spawn new problems.

    And yesup summed it up anyway, you can't compare a blatant che@t to a totally random outcome, which an exposed TH is.

    The game is about random outcomes, Teslas around a hall is a random outcome, DE lightning is a random outcome, attacking only mines/collectors is a random outcome, attacking ones DE storage is a random outcome, exposed elixir storages is a random outcome, attacking ones gold storage is a random outcome…must I continue? You can't just pick apart every random outcome, that is what makes the game great. It is a strategy, nothing more. Every strategy can blow up in your face depending on who finds you.

    The only viable options in my opinion are make trophies worth MORE, such as better league bonuses. And reward players for successful defences via league bonuses. Neither adversly affect existing mechanics in the game, it would reward players who try to keep their base in queue for longer, meaning more available bases to attack. That is a win for everyone.

    Rewarding wins more is great... however I've already seen a trend towards more TH outside the walls at higher trophies, because there are more TH snipers higher up now. I've just reached Masters, and if there were more TH outside the walls here, I'd just snipe those all day for easy-as league bonus...

    I'd like to see your league bonus multipled by the # of stars, i.e. bigger win = more loot bonus. Then dial down the base level league bonus a little, ideally also make a bit more incentive to protect the TH still (not sure what else to do there, though). Of maybe just make the TH snipe not count towards your league bonus, although that's a hard mechanic to explain and enforce as TH = 1-star...

    That would certainly help encourage more proper attacks.

    Even if we used the current league bonus as a base for a 2 star win. You get half the league bonus for a 1 star win & you get double if you get a 3 star win.

    Angry This is ♥♥♥♥♥ing.

    Ok. so this is the easiest way to ♥♥♥♥♥ the game. you can easily make your way to masters league by TH Sniping. Want proof? Search up my old clan, "Pants Optional" Their is a level 40 player with town hall 6 sitting perfectly fine at 2600 trophies. How? well whenever his troops train up he spends 2-10 mins searching for a farmer or a ♥♥♥♥♥er in my opinion, who is to scared to play the game by the rules. Not only that but for complete effortless attacking with level 3 archers and barbarians he gets the loot bonus a master player would. (Im pretty sure its about 75k gold and elixr and about 250 dark)
    Now that's how other players are exploiting it lets talk about the players who receive the free shield. so heres what they do, they log on every half on an hour or so when their troops are trained and attack inactive players without winning and take all their loot and leave, which is fine right? yeah well this part isn't, they ♥♥♥♥♥ their way to getting a free shield so basically a noob gets a couple free trophies and they get a free shield. so that no one can attack them and take their shield.
    so basically these players are being to weak and are hiding behind a free shield that wasn't even earned through a legit defence.

    Tell me what you all think. No offence is intended to any farmers, I personally myself have and do farm but Its a a way to progress in the game and until its patched it will be used and abused.

    Ive brought this up months ago about th holding more resources, but sc dont listen.
    i think adding 50k g/e and 200de is a fair amount on top of the regular available loot. So now a th10 att other th10 the max loot from storages+ th should be 250/250/2200. That would be sweet

    That wouldn't do a damn thing. People will still leave their halls out and just trade hall snipes - it would put even more players behind a shield as you would sweat on an exposed hall as not only would it give you trophies - it will give you loot.

    The best way for it 'to be fixed' is to reward players for successful defenses via the league system. It also needs to be revamped to give even more loot for 'proper' wins. Set huge rewards in higher leagues - much bigger then now, but only get a % of it based on the damage you do. That way hall snipes get stuff all league bonus. Make us want to have higher cups and get some loot out of it.

    So many imbalances and problems with the system will be fixed by making trophies worth more then bragging rights.

    Awarding defense wins is the way to go. Right now it is actually almost meaningless to make the defense, because without exposed townhall you would eventually get flattened by someone, and in the process you could suffer big loss multiple times. Sometimes you just hate your troops that stopped enemy at 39%.

    If it meant I will protect 2,000de to 3,000de? No doubt whatsoever. Giving that much resource for free essentially guarantees my hall gets sniped by the first person who finds it. I am out of the queue faster then ever before hoarding resources.

    When the hall pays a pittance of 1,000 each no farmer destroys it for loot. You put loot in it farmers will want to destroy them too. That means even more players out of the queue.

    I for example ignore exposed halls [unless on a rare trophy push], put loot in it? I am taking it down in a heartbeat.
