5th builder worth it?

I'm a fairly recent TH8, and I had to get a 5th builder. Yes, upgrades cost a fortune, but they also take an eternity. At TH7 I generally had a builder coming available at least once per day (tried to make it once per day). At TH8, even with 5 builders, I have many days when a builder is not coming available. This gives me a chance to build up resources for the next builder.

You have enough defenses at TH8 that having 2-3 down at a time is not a huge problem, especially once your defenses start to get maxed. I always try to keep good troops in my CC as well to help cover my out-of-service defenses.

I think it's worth it but I am only maxing out my level 7 TH....

I find that keeping them busy is fairly easy right now but my upgrades dont cost millions YET....

If you want it then just do it.... Like I said.... I've spent a worse $10......

Yeah, a 5th builder is a no-brainer. You can't go wrong with it unless you're a near maxed TH10. Even then, the builder adds an extra 250 HP of structure damage that needs to be done to 3-star your base. Put it someplace inside your village and you never know, it might be the thing that keeps your opponent occupied long enough to get taken out by your defense.

I have said this before but if it was on offer i would buy a 6th Builder.. Only time my builders have been inactive is when i was above 2k Trophies..

I realize that 5 is a nice round, pretty number, but I do hope they will hurry up and add a 6th builder to the game. Even if they keep up the pattern and make it cost 4000 gems I would still gladly get it. Builders are such an easy way to make money I don't know what is keeping them from adding such an obvious thing.

5th builder has been a difference maker building my base. I highly recommend it if you are very active. I have slowly been surpassing people in my clan who do not have it. I would get a 6th builder if they made it available.

I love my 5 builders. I'm an active farmer so they're always busy and I would go crazy from the waiting with any less. Maybe not for casual players that will find it hard to save up for upgrades at TH9 + that are all in the millions.

^ Same here, close to passing up clanmates who have been playing much longer but don't have the 5th builder. I'd use more builders if I could.

I thought I wouldn't be able to keep 5 builders busy but even at TH9 I am still doing it.

I farm an hour or two every day and am in the later stages of TH9. The worst that will happen is you have that fifth builder sleeping sometimes and you can use him to upgrade walls.
