In my opinion, if SC is to remove cheap shielding, they should remove it on all levels. The whole argument that removing the cheap shields from farmers will end the game is mere groundless speculations from those farmers that use that exploits.

In fact, weren't the farmers flaming the cuppers for making the exact same argument and telling all the high cuppers good riddance?

I believe removing game exploits on all levels will be for the betterment of the game. With the android market coming into play, Super Cell should move on this sooner rather than later. Hopefully, we will see this change by next update.

But it's totally different thing! I mean farmers trade 1000 coins and elixir and some cups that they have absolutely no need for for a 12hr shield. That's not cheap! That's like 3 archers and a goblin and ONE next click on searching target.

Complete overhaul would be needed. But why bother? 95% of the players are blissfully ignorant of all such issues and play the game the same way they did a week ago. My guesstimate is, they will add some gimmicks to the game to please the masses, but the core stays the same rotten apple it has been for about a year.

I dont mind that there is top players, neither do I mind that they are spending money, at least they put it on the game they love In the end the money goes to delevop the game..

For the rest who can't afford buying gems, and always complains about top players buying this and that, the main point in this game is trying to max everything, if there is nothing to max out whats the point with playing? If you are going to stare at the top players all time, and compare yourself with them then i suggest you should quit..

They aren't angels. There are plenty of them that have done some very bad things for this game, and they deserve pushback when try to defend those very actions. No, the name calling, laughing at their achievements, etc. is not permissible (it's childish and petty), but it is absolutely in their best interest to come here, to FB, to support, and anywhere else they can to try to get the changes they want.

They have spent thousands and thousands of dollars and countless hours of playtime on this game, and they really expect us to believe that they are going down by changing their clan descriptions for a week or so then deleting the app? They are capable of fighting back hard against any changes that offend them, but only if they actually have a case to make. If SC made anyone over 4000 trophies go on defens every 30 minutes, something that would truly be unfair, would you really expect the same responses?

People are playing them for fools, which they are not. They are posturing, doing what's within their power to get some public support with statements in clan description and to send SC a little thumbs down for what happened. They aren't going to SC by the dozens writing long explanations for why they feel they have been treated unfairly, because they know they would be wasting their time. SC clearly made the right call and deep down even the top players know cheap shielding hurts the game. It's over, they are trying to save some face before going on as if nothing much ever really happened. We have seen this time after time after time.

The only notable exception here is the change.org petition, but even that was shrouded in vague wordings and empty threats. The game goes on and they know it.

I would be curious, is SC actually interested in making CoC to something more than random clashing. No, not talking about clan wars. I know I won't waste any of my time or effort, planning and redesigning a complete overhaul, that could potentially even things out in the game. Course it's not my job either, nor anyone else's on the forums
