Trophy push!

My clan's trophy push is coming up and I just have a couple of questions about army compositions.

Balloon/Minions- My balloons are maxed but minions are still at level 1 (yeah shameful I know :P). Are there any other combos that I can use that still makes use of balloons?

Hogs- I don't really wanna jump on the bandwagon, but hey, I'm willing to use it for that extra push. But are level 4s worth using?

GoWiWi- I have level 4 golems, level 5 wizards but only level 1 witches. Are the witches still worth using at level 1?

With lv1 Hogs (and 4 lv5 healing spell) I reached Crystal 2 and Crystal 1.
Now I am stuck at 2450 trophies, unable to go up because it needs 2 hours to cook 4 spells

IMHO it worths and the loot is good in Crystal 1...

Thanks for the tip! I used Golem Wizards and Giants to reach 2500ish just fine though! Just wondering if level 4 hogs can take me to Masters and up

Its time to upgrade those minions, you wont believe how easy it is to balloon and minion you way up. I have reach 2923 within a week of a trophy push with balloonians.

From what you have, I would go with GOWIWI which is golems, wizards and witches. You can easily attain masters 3 with these by strictly only attacking th9 bases (no inferno towers, or weaker th10 bases). I recommending adding 2-3 pekkas, then you got yourself a powerful army.

BAM to crystal II, then balloonian till atleast master III. After that you can still use balloonians, but hogs will be better.

Not anymore. IMHO Balloons are stronger than hogs nowdays

Dragon Balloons works well, just deploy drags first then balloons, this is key.

Hmm i would suggest BAM with a bunch of rage spells. But that requires minions.... Hmmm you could always Barch but that may not work with lvl 5 troops...

if you have the res, you could go with.... *cough* excuse me? GoWiWi o_O lolol

or mass drags...

I used level 4 hogs upto 2600 (a week before update) then switched to balloon minions up to 2846

level 4 hogs can 100% any th9 with heal spells unless they have maxed giant bomb with correct placement. Skill and right choice of bases is the key here.
