To help OP's idea gain some traction maybe, the proposed rendering is similar yet does not include the items from the 'Shop' button.
All could be agglomerated in one 'Shop' button as currently, plus the items described by OP.

The current "Builder Suggestion" would remain as is, for a quick overview, and the proposed window could become an update of the Shop window.

Still a very nice proposal
