Can’t link my clash of clans account

So I have 2 iPads here, one is the old one, one is the new one. I logged into the same Game Center account on both of them and I booted clash of clans up on both devices. The support forum says that it will prompt you to sync the data, well it did that, but only on the old device. So, it was only asking me to sync the new account that I had just made to the old device and not the old device syncing data to the new one. Does anyone else have this issue? Please help - Thanks

This is really strange. All I can think of is trying to start over on the new device, as in, uninstalling clash, and then downloading it again, with the old account already loaded up, and then trying to sync them.

i'm getting this problem to, it's asking if i want to load my brand new account onto my old th9 account

I actually tried to unintstall it on the new one and then I re-installed it. I tried it again but it still didn’t work

You probably linked the new village to the game centre account before linking the old village. You’d need to create a new game centre account for your main village to link your main village to GC now.

So you are saying I have to make a new Game Center account and then log into the Game Center and load it on the old iPad first? Then the new iPad?

how do you make a new GC account?

Im on version 11.2.1

Basically, log out of your current one from iOS settings -> Game Center.
Create a new apple ID.
Log in via iOS settings -> game center into your new Apple ID/Game Center.
