I really don't consider that a 'leaderboard' or a 'ranking'. Doesn't matter whose at top first, second, last, or anywhere in between. I just consider it a 'list', don't care where u are on it just that you are on it and with points next to your name!!
As long as you completed the games it should be fine
cuz it doesn't matter if your first and second
if the team if first that's all that matters
And therein lies the rub. It takes 20 members scoring 500 points for 10,000.
But....
If your *small* clan manages their points to be at 490, then each take a 100 - 150 point challenge, a clan of 16 would hit tier IV. (15.6 at 640 points per, to be exact). So there is (or was in the first games) a definite purpose to do that very thing.
Next games, with higher personal caps and more tiers, maybe doing such "point overruns" won't be as beneficial. We'll see in a few hours.
Have a sneaking suspicion it may be the number of challenges completed. So, if you do 10 x "50 point" challenges you would be ranked higher than if you did 5 x "100 point" challenges. Or, maybe the just the opposite? Going to try and see if that theory is true in the next round. Anyone else up for testing that theory? My two accounts were ranked #1 and #2 and didn't get anything more than any of my other clan mates.
It is not (based on what happened in my clan):
order of completion
order within the clan with respect to trophy ranking
total "points" you would have had if it wasn't capped at 500
order of joining the clan
Or, average number of points received per challenge?
So what now? Where are the mods?
We need this to get fixed... If you think this is not a problem, then remove all the numbers specially #1 and #2 and #3 along with their colors.
^ What he said.
BUT - the graphics makes it look like the points overrun works. If you are at 1990 and take a 100 point task, the animation shows the clan points increasing by 100. But the animation runs from 90 points BELOW the previous clan points to 10 points above - ie you still finish with just the 10 points extra

When you finish your 500 points you may have ot exact or you might get some extra points. Those Overflow points still count in the ranking system even though they arent visible.
