Just 3 stars a mid th11 with QW, 29 hogs and wiz as cleanup. The multi infernos did nothing to the hogs under heals. Didn’t even use the Queen ability. This is scary.
Now, I am not sure to set my infernos to single or multi. I can smell my base gonna get thrashed. War gonna start in 6 hours.

To be fair, as a max th11 I regularly 3* “mid th11s.” Not with hogs mind you, lavaloon is my go-to comp. I’ll be interested to try it with hogs now after the inferno change, but I doubt hogs are going to supplant bowitch (especially once everyone sets their inferno towers to single).
3*s are going to be far more common I suspect, but hopefully good layouts will be able to defend most of the time. We shall see...

Guess it will depend on how soon people decide to put down their heros for upgrade. Was shocked to see a defense right after my personal break. But then realized they had previous days army (no heals or healers) and a hero down for upgrade. So next several weeks may still be ok.

I did a 3 star on a mid TH11 with my queen walking the wrong direction -_-

What was the rest of the army composition? Spells? CC troops? I want to try Hogs myself, and I was think 29 Hogs as well, just need to polish the rest off the comp.
I was experimenting with hogs prior to the update. I started a trophy push from titans and finished in legends. I learned a lot. I tried different variations of troop combinations. GoVaHo, GoBoHo and GoHo. Right before the update, I was at a 40% 3 star success rate. (caveat: the bases were multiplayer style bases so not prepared to defend hogs, some didn't have live heros or CCs, however I did 3 star a live fully maxed multiplayer base).
This is the army I finally settled on with the highest success rate. Shattered GoHo:
1 golem, 5 wiz, 4 wb, 2 arch, 36 hogs, 4 heals, 1 freeze, 1 poison, CC golem / rage
2 golems, 4 wb, 5 wiz, BK, AQ, GW, rage and poison for the kill squad (178 troop space, just below the 180 eagle activation). Then I just did a wall of hogs on the flank, healed where needed, and froze the backside inferno.
I am saving DE for heros now, so I have not tried this army after the update. I think I would drop the freeze for another spell.
