Ridiculous search time. There are times where I get kicked for inactivity because of how long I've been searching and one of my friends has been told that there were no available bases and to try again later

This is insane 10-20 minutes to search for one freaking opponent. No fun at all...

This is my last ever answer or reply to your comments. Was (at least) second time you answer a max TH11 player to stay low in Legend, as a temporary solution to clouds or "what next to do" in the game. It will be nice for you to understand not all players have your player profile and we want/like different thing. We all understood that for you it's nice to stay low Legend and wait "only" 10 minutes on average in clouds, we got your point.

Nope, I didn’t say what you claim, so apparently you didn’t get my point. Perhaps I failed to make it clear. However, I did note low legends isn’t “unplayable” which was my point. I was replying to someone who said it wasn’t playable. I thought it worth noting that low legends is much different than middle legends. I didn’t say it was great and didn’t say that is where everyone should play. In fact, I often point out many of my own clan mates prefer titans and I also point out there are more effficient ways to get loot for those who are not maxed. Personally, I dropped down into titans yesterday and did’t find it any better than low legends, so I’m back to low legends today. Both of my heroes are down and my dark storage is full so I don’t really have any need to attack anyway, though.

When you first climb in Legend after Crystal, Master or Champion - where there is an almost instant Next base every time, Legend seems "unplayable".
When you step down from 5800 (or even higher), where I got few times twice in a row "Unable to find village" or times when being able to have one attack in 2-3 hours, you feel lower Legend or Titan I as "playable".
It is a matter of perception what one considers playable.
For me, anything higher than 5 minutes becomes "unplayable". For example, at my work people sit in office and they take a break maybe once an hour to smoke. I don't smoke, but it is good for your health to stand up, have a short walk, drink a tea. When others do smoke one cigarette, I click Next for max 3 minutes to find a base to either farm or practice an attack against a max TH11 + 3 minutes the attack. Then start new troops and spells, close the app, come back to work.
This scenario is valid for many other situations that require a 5-10 minutes break
With waiting times of 10+ minutes, would mean to come back to my desk with the device searching for clouds and co-workers next to me say "you play at work?". Doesn't fit. Or having dinner with my family, put my fork down because I just got a base to attack after waiting 30 minutes. My wife would go mad
But definitely I wouldn't leave my TH out. You should just find the league that suits your life and style of playing and the game is still enjoyable.

It's a mathematical problem. At any one given time, there are only so many bases available. Everyone has the same amount of shield and guard. That statistic does not change. The number of bases in the game are set. When clouds become longer and longer, it is because there are more players online "taking" the available bases. It's not an opinion, it's math. My analogy stands correct.
The solution to the clouds is a revision of the shield/guard times for each league. At the very top, you would have a personal break after each attack one does, that is what would solve the problem.
However, it is true that the more players we have online, the longer clouds become. That was my point. And as I said, it is a mathematical truth.
