Every winter “a” chicken heads into the mine. He/she never comes out. Every Halloween ghostly eyes peer out from inside the mine.

Has SC been sacrificing winter fowl upon the Halloween altar? And did Chick Norris really go to Vienna? Maybe “Vienna”... Interesting how despite promises and the passage of almost two years, there’s no update on “Chick Norris” or his whereabouts. We’d all like to pretend that we could distinguish between Chick Norris and some random chicken but the truth is they all look like drumsticks to us!

‘Fess up, SC. Where is Chick? Was there ever a Chick? What is the true organic source of all that coal in the mine? And is it “A Mine Named “Vienna”?

I read the announcement on "chick" after your post, but am not familiar with the "Vienna" thing. What's it all about, and do you actually "see" chick go into the mine?

However, the Daily Dirt used to have a front page article filled with puns. A couple of years ago they changed the headline. I keep expecting them to follow up. As for the mine, those are chicken feet going in and none coming back out but no, no one actually sees him going in...just as no one has seen Chick �� for years.

Yes. That’s what it was changed to. It used to be something different. I can’t remember the headline but the article was fun and silly and filled with puns.
