Oh, you mean like the very author of this thread asking what others are experiencing? You know, the one that is in the best war streak clan of all time?
I didn't say they weren't ever an advantage. I said it seems based on the matchups we have had recently their advantage has been reduced. The rest of the roster makes a big difference, though.
Contact SC here. Click here for how trophies are calculated. An idea to improve legends here. I wish max players had a separate loot bank as described here. Caution, I often discuss for the sake of discussion and enjoy having my opinion challenged (or approved of) even when I care little about the actual issue. My balance wish: get rid of tornado trap, make it a decoration.
Asset. Just asset.
Meanwhile, in the builder base, a tired Battle Machine operator limps home. He is bruised by giant cannon balls. His spine is compressed by crushers. His hair and beard is singed by roasters. He pours three fingers of Old Tennessee, and slumps into a rocking chair. He stares morosely at at an empty rug in front of a cold fireplace. A single tear escapes his left eye.
Does anyone find it strange that someone who I would guess has intimate knowledge of the MM is asking this question. Are the martians preparing for a change of course due to the new MM? Just seems a odd person to come to the forums for engineering advice. I can't be the only one perplexed by this.
my money is on liability but not sure, we rarely see them but when we do we win.
the clans that we lost to in the past that had a bunch of 9.11s are all on 0-3 win streaks and routinely complaining about the MM in their description every few days

I agree with some that 9.11 definition gets blurry.
Bases can vary so greatly from the rushed th9 that decides to just go up town halls to try out the warden to the extreme hardcore manicured base like the ones in the clans with long war win streaks.
The purpose of the questions was precisely to distinguish at what point during base progression a 9.11 starts or stops being an asset/liability.
I think that as far as the War finder is concerned and for the good of the clan, a max offense 11 without inferno and eagle is better for clan composition then a max offense 11 with maxed th9 quota defenses. For just a bit more weight, you can pretty much guarantee not to be 3 starred by the majority of th10's and some th11's.
If your opponents don't have much over th9 or th10, you might be able to rock the true 9.11.
A th11, like ripples, doesn't get the advantage of preventing healing from infernos. But, thanks to the latest few "updates" from SuperCell, the additional damage from the additional levels of point defenses offsets just about as much damage as the infernos would prevent healing. And you get to spread it all over the map.
The point defense level increases only made bases like ripples stronger in my opinion. Making them more efficient for the weight.
