    Th9.11’s: asset or liability?

    For the war oriented people in this forum that run th9.11, I have a few questions.

    What is your war army? Heroes/troops/spells?
    What type of bases can you destroy? Th10/11?
    What type of attacks can your base defend?

    What is your experience as a th9.11, are they really an asset or a liability?

    We don't have any in my clan, but we do match up against them. It seems to me their advantage has been reduced recently, partially with the warden weight increase but even a little before that. They seem to now be treated more like 10.5s or early 11s. There is nothing scientific here, I'm just going off what I've seen lately. The last few clans we matched with 9.11s didn't have an advantage.

Caution, I often discuss for the sake of discussion and enjoy having my opinion challenged (or approved of) even when I care little about the actual issue.     maxed army, troop, hero, spells
    th10, lower th11, bad layout th11
    defends all th10 and lower th11’, mid-max th11’s decent at attacking should get 3

    sometimes asset, usually when mixed. Liability if limited other th11’s

    Do you have to have all maxed army, troop, hero, spell to be called a 9.11? :/

    I’d say no. It’s more about the extra defense levels and walls you’re getting. As long as you have a maxed set of troops to use and all walls, traps, & point defense placed and upgraded to max I’d call it a 9.11. I’ve run across many of what I call wanna be 9.11s. Teen heroes, one maxed set of war troops(usually dragons )and th9 level towers. Those type of bases usually don’t hold up. Now Ripple’s style of 9.11... yeah, that’s the way to go if you’re going to do it.

    True, but those others are on the way to that type of base. They are working on it. I think they are a little too late, though. Even our th10.5s and early th11s are considering dropping eagles.

    I don’t think so. I have maxed war troops. Pekka is lvl 3, goblins 5, dragons 4. Skelly, eq spells not maxed. Golem still 6.

    Dang these terms are confusing. I thought 9.11 was th9 defense quota, but th11 offense. Ripple your 11 is just an 11 lacking infernos and eagle.

    That being said we have a th11 minus eagle and infernos sitting at about #7 or 8. There is 1 max th11 at the top followed by a few 11’s missing eagles, then 3-4 th10’s then that th11. He pretty much hits th10’s with a decent 3 star rate (7 out of 10). Higher bases hit the 11’s. Heroes are not max though. His heroes are like 25/30/10. He has maxed bowlers witches and miners I think.

    War finder has been good to us as of late. We are seeing some engineered clans as well as a few normal ones. But they haven’t been super attackers, and with the warden weight increase, they have had significantly less defense power allowing us to get higher star counts then normal and offset their extra stars accrued through multiple high offense spam attacks.

    Yeah those terms are always confusing lol. Even .5 has different views.

    I cant really say if it's a liability, we have only one, whose setup is 4 xbows, no ITs/EA, max key offense, I think his heroes are in the 30s and max warden. His def level are mostly TH9 except max ADs and Teslas (possibly traps cba checking) + lava/lego walls.
    He attacks the same targets our 11s do, depending on what's going on in the war it may be 11s or 10s.
    Due to lack of infernos and TH9 pt defense his defense is not too strong except against air.

    I still think they do work, and especially, they dont confuse the matchmaking as much as extremely engineered bases so 1. search times dont go stupid long 2. you dont necessairly lure other extremely engineered clans (unles your whole lineup is filled with 9.11s)

    Yes, storm is correct. I am a max war offense th11. With max walls, max point, max wiz, almost max mortar. Gold weight is 85k. Not sure what you want to call it.
