Im moving to TH9 soon as well. However there is already a TH9 vault thread, so we don't need to create another one. What about a trophy vault? Thats a challenge for u guys

Been Following for the past few days and Wow I have learned a Lot! So I decided to take a stab at it and came up with something I feel is Very effective. First 5 attacks were all snipes, but I got my first real attack today, successfully defending against a TH 10 with max level troops and Raged Max Hogs. Never even seen L6 WB until now. Can't post pic? If someone could *Please* post my base, Clan is Pekkas of Glory (Black and Green) and NeggyBundy would be me 😎 *Disclaimer* I find that the imperfections it has are what makes it 'perfect' (you know what I mean) and I will explain where traps and Teslas are for it to make sense! Thanks A Lot guys for inspiring me to make a base that works for me and let's keep this thread going..! BTW he only got 43k Gold and 77k Elixer and 34 DE.

👆 That shows my base, the Elixer is where the gold should be, I just had more overnight lol so I switched them, same for Dark Elixer Storage I Switched with the Drill cuz it was empty from "Bamming" all day ♥♥♥♥... So anyway just try to picture it back in place. Now, let me try to answer a few questions I anticipate. Why are my walls not touching my mortars on the left and right side of my core? Great question. People always complain about putting mortars in the core because they say that the dead zone it has stops it from being able to hot enemies right next to it. Problem solved, for the left and right side anyway. The wizard towers are there for the top and bottom. Also, some might say, "Silly you, lightning strikes will Merk your core." Well again, that's why the space is there, if I find I'm getting lightning strikes a lot (which I'm not worried about) I can simply push the mortars over one space to give a little more wiggle room. It is what it is. Note the air bombs all evenly spaced in the core and the S.A.M.s placed where I would anticipate a healer if they destroy an AD. You have to look close at where some buildings are not fully enclosed to allow the silly giants to split up, wreaking havoc on an attack. I feel that my base being unorgonized is what makes it strong, because in the 20 or so seconds they give you to think of a strategy, ppl will be like....umm....ummm...♥♥♥? Is there a trap here? Or here? ..."F" it Next!! And for the ones who do try I am hopin the redirections foil their plans of looting me. Of course no defense is perfect and anyone can be beaten, but I strongly believe they will have a VERY hard time getting big loot freon me, mainly gold, Elixer is expendable. The outer buildings are far away to force spawn and not give them a good angle to deploy wall breakers and giants properly, the mini bombs are one block away from the walls in hopes they activate BEFORE the wall breaker touched the wall to blow before he does.

👆 Hard to tell but those are level 6 giants on fire getting hit with splash damage from wizard tower and probably mortar too. Granted that's my dragon on the job, but hey "What's in your CC?" 😈😎
anyway if they did survive, they would have flying lessons before they reached the golden cannon.

👆 Well placed L6 tesla bug zapping a L6 WB with one hit. It also kills the next one you see approaching. Dude got frustrated and eventually mass deployed the other 6 with a rage spell and broke my core. My tesla killed 3 more out of the 6 but the rage spell was just that. Rage. It also somehow made them glide over my well placed spring trap I put in place for backup.. Something I've been playing over and over to figure out why/how...

👆 Rage spell was dropped with max level hogs and 110 gobs. *F.P.S. Russia Voice* Not so many left after well placed Big Bomb 😎 The mortar shot hurt them, bomb earthed them.
The ones that remained swiveled their way into core and did manage to grab a gold and Elixer storage ( I had 3 gold and 1 Elixer in there at the time, De Storage was outside in the top right where Elixer usually goes) but my wizard towers and mortars mowed them down. Would have been quicker had they not been distracted by hogs and whatnot, but that's a given lol

👆 Okay, lots going on in this pic. My base design caused the hogs to split up and lower their effectiveness. they are the strength in numbers type. Starting from the left, the AT is still upgrading, so plays as distractor. My L10 cannon quickly puts him down. The hog in the middle meets a violent explosion that lays him down immediately, it would have been cool if they all attacked my cannon ha ha 😇 the hogs you see attacking my mortar never succeed. The tesla and WT along with cannons not in pic wrapped them up thankfully, but they did however get my bottom, or left most Mortar 😩. It is what it is. Plus you see those two mortar shells flying at the hogs lol can you say.. Splash damage?!

👆 Final Verdict. Hit with Max level troops (Wait, do hogs go to L5?) and the guy was Town Hall 10 with a solid base himself mind you, and I only lost ONE storage I cared about; the gold.
I sound like a freakin' leprechaun or something.

looks good, I am just weird on that I like symmetrical bases.
Ok so I cant upload pictures, but my new base really works AMAZING, im around 1700-1500 with it. I really used the traps to the fullest potential that I felt I could. I also tried to direct the AI of the troops around the base. Allowing for gold and DE to remain safe. Completely centralized CC also. Any thoughts or good or bad is welcomed.
