1. The added HP's for a third gold storage, and spreading out the gold to an added third location, might be useful if this was a cloister group design project, but it isn't--it's a vault design. And long upgrades aren't a good argument for requiring a third storage; 3 million gold is the max for any TH 8 upgrade meaning you have an extra million as buffer and walls always need upgrading.
Someone made the argument that it is somehow easier to design and defend 6 storage units rather than 4. This is counterintuitive and just plain wrong. Not building those extra storage units frees up space in the middle and behind walls. I simply don't understand designs like Junliang's Pokeball that are very good but for wasting the excellent defensive potential of the BK completely.

2. These designs for the most part don't make optimal use of the now upgradeable traps.

One idea i have been thinking of for a long time is how to attack popular bases. With the billions of people using the tesla theme park, poke ball, and all of chief pats bases it could be fun to take them down
In case u havent noticed, not trying to b rude, but 3 gold storages + 1 DE storage = 4 storages to protect. Its not easier to protect, but its a hell of a lot easier to predict unit AI when u got 1 storage on each side of the core, and it also makes core design easier. A nice plus with a cc in the middle makes for a v. promising base, potentially, and wot the guys said about long upgrades, if u got 4 mil in the bank with another day to go, u got nothing to do if u got 2 gold storages. But if u have 3, then u have another 2 mil u can farm, greatly increasing the amount of upgrades/walls ull b able to do once a builder frees up. Finally, pls pls pls can u take this argument elsewhere, as this is a community vault design project, not a 3 v 2 storage debate.
EDIT I just saw another comment. Of cause hp matters. If u got a load of gobs in ur core, then u gonna lose more if theres less hp to kill before they get all ur monies. I rest my case![]()
