I've noticed in the last few weeks a decent improvement in match making and getting reasonable match ups. Then we did a search Monday to get a totally engineered clan with 11 th11 to our 5 Th11. We don't have any engineering in our clan so I just can't see how we get this horrible match.I'm not sure sc is ever going to fix it. How's others finding the matchs in last few weeks?

This is just disaster. Supercell is doing NOTHING.
Half of my clan members dont war cause we have 0 engineered bases and we CONSTANTLY hit engineered clans.
I am sick of it. U at SC dont understand that this will cause people to leave the game...
Our clan has stopped warring.
We've decided to just focus on Heros for now.
Hopefully we'll have a reason to return to the battlefield soon...
Near as I can tell there seem to be 3 cases where non-engineered clans are still running into heavily engineered clans
#1 Larger wars. There seems to be a correlation between the size of the war and the probability of encountering and engineered clan.
#2 Large spread in THs participating in war. The larger the spread, the higher the probability of drawing an engineered clan.
#3 Simple bad luck.
I Question this. So how to gain the Benefit? Does keeping lower level Townhalls in the Top Line-up will help? Or Higher level townhalls all the way in the Line up.

Number 2 best describes our clans issue. We usually run 2/4/4 th10-th8. We almost always get matched with a clan with 2 or more extra th9s. So, we've had our max th8s make the move to th9. Hopefully this will help.
I think the more higher level THs you can fill the roster with the less the chance of hitting an engineered clan. I could be wrong but intuitively it makes some sense as engineers are trying to leverage higher offense against lower defense.
The flip side is when you run into really well engineered clan that also has more Maxed 11 anchors at the top of the map. I've seen that problem in the war MM sub section to. It's not our clan but I've seen enough complaints to know it happens.
I've found 2 situations where we are far more likely to draw an engineered clan.
The first is when I put my 9.11 in the war search. So if we draw an engineered clan in that case I have no complaints. I just notice it is far more likely when it is included in the search than when it is not.
The second is when I let everyone green war, we do a 15x15 war and the bottom 5 bases look like Low 9, 8, 8, 7, 5. None engineered just random clan members who want to war. But since the top of our map looks like 11, 10.5, 10, 10, 10 we tend to get some very strange results with or without the 9.11 in the search.
