In my continued effort to ruin my war log for “science”,I ran 2 non max th8s up top in a 20v20 w mostly th7s and a few 6s at the bottom. Got matched with a th8 and a th9 weakened to sit at no2. Not a big deal. Getting used to it. But for the sake of dealing with engineered rosters/bases, it’s more evidence that it is impossible to play “clean” under the current algo. There is no “asking for a mismatch” that I can see only that clans continue to sneak in stronger offenses to almost guarantee any clan trying to play straight up will get a mismatch.
(Update) we won the war. I suppose it’s validation that SC can say the MMA “works” but only because the skill on the other side didn’t match their weapons

It really amazes' me that you people still don't get this clan war stuff. Is it so hard to understand that th 11s 3 star th 10s th 10s 3 star 9s. if the other clan has higher ths then your clan your gonna lose.. I can't believe you guys don't get that... Every time our clan is matched with more th 11s then us and more th10s then us, we lose... Wake up your losing long time players here that are losing interest in this Game. I for one have had it.. This whole thread is a Joke....
Don't waste your time here guys, They have done nothing to help the mismatches. I've been following this thread hoping for some help as you and I can see they just want your $$$$.. So done with this REALLY..
In a 15v15 war
3 max th11 heroes and troops against 1 max and two new th11s seems fair. They will demolish 5 out of top 6 bases. I should knock out their top 2 but the new th11s will have a hard time clearing 6 to 3.
Hi, I am Siraat. Co-leader of clan Dragon Warriorz (#CQGPVVQP). We searched our clan war at 11 th of April 2018 around 1:32 A.M. (I.S.T +5:30 GMT) and we got our opponent clan i.e King 786 (#RU9L88UG). We got a very big clan war mismatch which is mentioned below.

I know that we have more th8,th7,th6,th5 & th4 than our opponent's clan but you know that th11,th10 and th9 are enough to destroy all our ths. Please SUPERCELL improve this clan war mismatch.

Opponents team defence and heroes level are max and we don't have single opponent max defence or heroes.
Does this thread even affect the matchmaking? I wonder if they're looking at this. Clearly it seems Engineering is still an ongoing issue. What I don't understand is how SuperCell can continue to blindly ignore certain clans so obviously using Engineering. The top one is #6aymartians after all and they even changed their clan name.
How in the heck does one do that without 3rd party software? How can this be ignored? Their accounts are so obviously Engineered. Just think of that 410+ win streak which is basically over 400 wars mismatched leading to upset players.

My clan just finished a war that we believe has been inappropriately matched. It's a 20 vz 20 war & our clan included town hall levels: one lvl 3, two lvl 4's, one lvl 5, one lvl 6, five lvl 8, six lvl 9's and four lvl 10's. The opposing team had: eight lvl 8's, eight lvl 9's and four lvl 10's. Understanding the matching is based on troop & defense levels and not town hall levels, level 8 TH's have much higher troops & defenses than TH's 3, 4, 5 & 6's. So essentially we are in a 15 VS 20 battle because our lowest 5 can not win an attack. Plus this war is 4x the loot bonus so its more disappointing to realize we stand little chance of winning. It's very discouraging. In the end we lost 50-56, considering the odds we did really well!
