Clan War Mismatch - Gathering new infoz (again for science)

I dunno about your wars but I prefer being matched up against engineered clans. Last war we matched a clan that was up 2 TH11s and 4 TH10s on us in a 25 man war, yet when we matched we thought "oh man, we are gonna crush these guys".

And we crushed them with ease.

This war we matched a clan less engineered, and a bit tougher of a war.

Moral of the story is that you will face rushed/engineered clans regardless, if you cannot beat these clans then you need to rethink your roster.

We are also engineered, so we cannot complain about being matched against engineered clans or even being outmatched because we play the game how it is actually meant to be played.

we won handidly (73-60) as they were garbage attackers but the matchup was still dicey and we haven’t had a good, close to even but most importantly, a fun war in a month on a farm spin.

Matching making is as good as it has ever been. Rarely do we get bad matches. Thanks Supercell for making this happen!

We just had a matchup where our bottom 3, who are th9 and under, were matched with th11s. That's 6 useless attacks in a 10 v 10 war. This just makes me want to throw in the towel.

Try losing 4 back to back wars by one star, as we keep getting matched with th12s with maxed eagles or th11s with eagles yet we don't have any eagle bases in our line up.

*Sigh* lost my love for this game.

Is there any way to avoid the mismatchup with the engineered clan?

I know the SC staffs are reviewing this page. PLEASE, look our war roster and tell us how to be fairly matched or how to be matched to the non-engineered clan. If there is no way to avoid the engineered clan, then, PLEASE, admit your matching system is not working correctly, and encourage us to have many engineered accounts officially. Since new updates, the mismatching up rate is incredibly increased. The previously added alternative system, which was partially working well, is now broken! It is getting worse everyday because the players are now putting more engineered due to the broken matching up system.

Clan level has no bearing on the matchmaker. You're 8-4, winning at a good clip. One of your losses was in a 20v war where you scored 35*. Can't win if you don't attack. Your other losses have been fairly close, although I also see one clan scored 60 in a 20v20.

You guys are winning at a 10:1 clip. I don't think the matchmaker is posing any real problem. What I am going to guess is that your mid to high strength bases are drawing larger opponents with weaker bases. This is exactly what we experience in my war clan as we're almost all maxers. So as our bases approach max we begin to get opponents at the lower end of the next TH. That said, I would recommend you tighten your TH spread. YOur'e currently taking all the way down to 5. Bring this up to at least 8, IMO. OTOH, your record speaks for itself....so might not be a good idea.
