    We just prevailed in a match where we were down 16-12 on wardens in a 25v25 match. Typical for us. However this next spin is COMPLETELY INSANE. We have 11 TH11s, 2 TH10s, and 7 TH9s. Typically we see clans with 13-15 TH11s. This war? TWENTY out of TWENTY!. COME ON! And Im not talking rushed or defenseless Th11s. These guys seem to have added just the right amount of defenses to mimic the lower THs, but a lot of them are max 9.11s. Some have dropped a couple max cannons and an IT...Thats their #20 vs our brand new TH9 with low level everything. All but the bottom 2 have 4 crossbows! How does that match against a TH9?? Last war most of our 9s just ended up scouting 11s as the opponent only had 3 TH9s to hit. This is no fun for our low level players. I have NEVER seen a match against all TH11s. That is nuts! ITS BROKEN SC! Stop your stupid also and match wardens within 1. Put an end to engineering it has ruined the game.

    Dear SC, a year or so ago, when we were facing so many engineered clans, we started trying to engineer, even though we didn't believe in it, because it seemed "if you can't beat em, you gotta join em." Then, when you announced a few months ago the matchmaking changes that would fix the problem, we all caught up on our defenses. We have no truly engineered bases left, only one or two .5s, those are catching up, and we try to control how many of those we put in our wars. Yet this is the THIRD WAR IN A ROW when the oppo has had twice (or more than twice) as many bases with TH 11 troops as we do. In this war, it is a TEN PLAYER WAR, we have 2 TH 11s (true ones, not engineered), 3 true TH 10s, one 9.5, a strong 9, a weak 9, and 2 8s. The oppo has 4 TH !!s, including 2 engineered. That means they have 8 TH 11 attacks with which to hit 10 bases, including only 2 TH 11s and 3 TH 10s. Come on, SC. We feel like chumps that we decided months ago to go to total fair play, because we are still getting matched against ridiculously heavy engineers. You are taking ALL THE FUN out of wars. It's one thing when it's a fair contest, skill against skill. But when you have to be absolutely perfect, ZERO room for error, and the other team has to be just mediocre at best, how is that supposed to be fun? We have solid, caring adult players, some of whom have been playing for 3 or 4 years. And honestly, many of us are ready to quit, because war is the most interesting part of the game for them and wars are completely ruined.
    There is a way to fix this. A real way, that you guys should consider. Put some power in the hands of the players. Give clans a limited right to reject war matchups, as we can reject friendly war challenges. Obviously, it has to be limited, or clans would just keep searching for an easy enemy. But if we could reject one, or two (like coaches challenges of referee or umpires calls in sports), and then the "reject" button would go away by the second or third one, it would go a long way towards solving the problem. Because engineers would find themselves getting rejected so many times that it would take the fun out of engineering.
    If you don't want to do that, you absolutely have to count the total number of the highest town hall in each clan, and match those numbers more fairly. Honestly, I am at the end of my rope, as are many of my clanmates. How many people do you want to lose from this game?

    Boy, reading these other replies it seems that nothing has really been fixed. Very sad. To all the others who have posted, I sympathize. We have gotten three in a row like this, and no matter who we choose in our lineup, it doesn't help.

    it's being a thing of almost all wars now. we always get mismatch and makes me irritated.
    How supercell justify here for FAIR PLAY?? playing against rushed bases is not FAIR PLAY i should tell Supercell, and next time before giving KNOWLEDGE to players about Fair Play , i think Supercell should first fix the biggest Fair Play issue in their game. Here are my details again for your analysis :

    Clearly Pabo is correct. SC either 1. doesn’t care or 2. Is incompetent to address the issue they created in the first place. Going back to the match making BEFORE they "FIXED" it would be far better than this current state. Just awful.

    comment: very frustrating matching for the last three consecutive war matches .... including the above mentioned war which have just been matched (we r in preparation day)

    Our clan has 1 newly upgraded th10 (no infernos, no 3rd xbow, not any new wall or defense building, max Air defense , level 1 bowler , level 1 miner, level 3 lava) .... rest of bases are th9 or below
    in each of the last 3 or 4 war matches , our enemy always has two th10 with miners 3, lava 3, bowler 2, inferno towers, 3rd xbow, and even once he has maxed th10 base ....
    this is totally unfair ... enemy easy beat our top 4 bases with miners 3 attacks .... then enjoy destroying the rest of bases ....
    Nevertheless , we have won all of those three wars by extreme effort and sweating and praying that enemy miss a star here or there ...

    personally, I have a maxed out th9 base with level 20 heros (base index 2 in war list just after th10 base) but I never enjoyed this maxed out th9 .... because always I get 3 starred by miners 3 or bowlers 2 attacks .... how hard I change the base layout, still I get 3 starred easily by th10 troops .....


    please please please .... stop this engineered bases matching .... I suggest to flag any base that has any th10 maxed troop or inferno towers as a th10 rival that must be matched with th10 base with similar offense army (even if the matched base has max defense)...
    same rule for TH11 or th9 .....

    SUGGESTION: any player must be matched with Same town hall level given that he has either any troop of that town hall or defense building to the level of that town hall ...... this should be applied to the top 50 percent of players at least (if all players it will be perfect)
    if u follow this rule , then no more unfair war matching .... other factors and weights of total offenses and defenses should be a secondary factor for matching after the above rule ...

    Oh boy .... I am not alone in this disaster of unfair war matching .... but I have noticed that this unfair war matching become worse after the recent maintenance update around 9 or ten days ago ..... it has affected the last 4 war matches with those ridiculous engineered bases being matched against low town hall bases ... before the last maintenance update of 9 days ago, the war matching was little better than it is now ..... who agree with this ?

    I agree, sirhan. It has been our last 3 wars. It's disgraceful, and I find it even more disgraceful that the SC representative who posted this original invitation to share information, has not responded in months. It's more and more obvious that they just don't care. Because it's ridiculously easy to fix if they wanted to. I actually suspect that they went back to favoring engineering after making some half hearted efforts to fix it, because engineering is where the most money is for SC. And I feel like my clan was punked by SC, because when they announced with all that fanfare that they were fixing it, we went all in on building balanced bases and being FP. Now we are screwed. I have been leading clans for 2.5 years, and at present I have zero motivation to play the game. My only activity is done out of a sense of obligation to the other members, but that's not going to last much longer
