    Puzzle Piece Event 🛳

Ok, so special boat event has just started. I called the boat with diamonds to come earlier. No puzzle piece for that. Thanks for nothing. What a huge let down. I called the second boat. This time a puzzle piece was shown at the dock. I opened 2 crates which were filled pretty fast (thanks to my awesome friends!!). I got a single puzzle piece. So the question is: Do we get more and more puzzle pieces for every boat we fill? Or is the number of PP we get per boat truly random (I hope not)?
On the event board there are 5 puzzle pieces greyed out (after my second boat, there‘s now one PP colored). So I assume the more boats you do, the more PP you‘ll get. This would mean, you get for the first 5 boats one PP more:
    1st boat: 1 PP
    2nd boat: 2 PP
    3rd boat: 3 PP
    ...
    6th boat: 5 PP
7th boat: 5 PP and so on

if this is correct, you‘ll need a huge amount of diamonds to call the boat earlier AND have many good friends/a fully expanded barn Good luck everyone

    No Bendy

You can only get 5 PP the entire Event. One per boat. No idea why your first boat didn't have one, maybe it was on its way before they told the crew they needed to give you one.

One Pp per Boat, max 5 per event.

    Bummer huh.

Short answer - no. 5 boats, 1 piece each. That's it, probably because we may see these one day events somewhat frequently.

I asked in the News section:

If we skip a boat, does that count as a missed puzzle piece? Or if we send the boat off, it doesn't count toward the total of 5 puzzle pieces?

Hoping to get an answer here. Thank you.

Also, the first boat didn't have a puzzle piece for me too, since it was already on its way (from when the latest boat left).

So what do those of us who toiled long and hard to get all the puzzle pieces get please?

We do not need puzzle pieces - or are you going to allow us to stockpile them for when you release new animals or another sanctuary - because right now we can’t like permits we can not stockpile.

Ok than the German translation must be wrong. It says: You‘ll get up to 5 PP for one fully loaded boat.

Whoops.. seems like it is a bit off. We'll fix it.

So, you can skip any boat you want and you won't lose puzzle pieces, but max amount of pieces during this event is 5.

    Cheers,

    How disappointing!

From a business point of view also how does it make sense limiting it to 5? For higher level players like myself there's not really anything worthwhile to spend diamonds on anymore except for a new decoration once in a blue moon. I have plenty of slots on my machines, got all the decorations I want etc. So when the last puzzle happened I finally had a reason to spend real money on this game again after 2 years, myself and my wife spent around 40€ during that event and planned on finishing our town zoos by buying yet more diamonds to make the most of this 24 hour event.

If supercell were to to check the data I'm sure sales MASSIVELY increased during the last event. Why would you refuse that extra income again?

The last puzzle event was crazy fun, collecting all the pieces, trying to fill the boats while supplies run extremely low, desperately trying to find even the basics in the newspaper, keeping all the machines busy producing items, hiring Tom for help, helping fill other people's boats. I loved it! Without the limit of 5 there's only so many boats that can be done within 24 hours when you consider how many supplies people hold, the fact we sleep for a good 8 hours out of the event etc.

What a shame. Awful idea limiting it to 5
