Rlight is Brawl Star manager. He has shown he prefers reddit.

Some hints for the discussion, other than any direct feedback from the CM themselves:
    - are some discussiions happening here (Clash dec-15, mod interaction, ifr, etc..) triggering SC to move?
    - forumers / mods behavior?
    - less active forums being considered for a move?
    - risk/opportunities of the forum, value benefit?
    - vBulletin, server, etc limitations or not following a strategy?
This forum is a medium for SC to communicate, hence what prompts a move out, limited or total?

Cf early years of SC when the choice was made to move away from standard computers (for the time) to mobile devices, a strategical choice.

I’m not sure why speculations help or clarify in any way: it’s the decision taken for CR by those responsible for deciding for CR on the grounds they think most pertinent, and they’ve said what they are going to say about it. Who knows what they may follow that up with saying on the topic? Whatever that might be I’d expect it said in the CR forum area rather than here.

This thread seems to me to be heading the way Sharky was suggesting we don’t go in closing the other that you pointed to. The topic for Forum Talk isn’t the whys or the what factors or they should theys or what people think in response - all that belongs in the CR forum. You also said that yourself in the OP.

Here in Forum Talk - so far as I can see - really the only discussions useful are to do with how this impacts the ongoing experience for rest of the forum for other games besides CR, the general forum experience for all, or the forum experience of those who presently post in both CR and a different game forum.

Staying Positive is Indeed a very good habit. But, Not always.
However previously when a thread "Reddit is the place to be?" which was Based on Clash of clans was moved to Forum Talk section. when asked why. It's because of the discussion regarding the forums. It's the same for CR as well.
People who worked for it so far. and when they hear it's shutting down. It gets them raged and they want to share this with everyone.
And this is just a part of it.
And I'm not saying anything regarding the actions. But, A right to speak or share something.
Supercell Forum Consists of CR, COC, HayDay, Boom Beach. and Forum talk is all about talking regarding the forums.

Coz, When Clash of clans vs reddit can be discussed in Forum talk. I wonder why isn't good to discuss CR vs Reddit.

About a year ago, the Mod Squad characterized the tone in the CR subforum as "The toxicity displayed here is unlike anything we have ever seen on the Supercell forums..."

    https://forum.supercell.com/showthre...Moving-forward

I'm one of the lucky readers who don't encounter many toxic posts because the Mod Squad cleaned the CR subforum before I logged on. I'm speculating the silver lining is with the imminent closure of the chronic, chaotic CR subforum, the Mod Squad wouldn't need to allocate so much resources to patrol the problematic subforum and devote their time and energies to improving other subforums. I hope this will mitigate the loss of the CR subforum for some forumites.

Mod Squad, please feel free to share your thoughts with us. Thank you.

For what it’s worth I did have a meeting with Tim while in Helsinki to talk about this. I asked if we could keep it open, and he could just make a post saying they would have no interactions here. But it was not to be.

I think one of the main reasons I played CR was because of this community. And we had many forum members in the clan. Once the forums close I will also be quitting the game.

Reddit is also blocked in several countries and by many workplaces.

    Sad day indeed.

They feel it gives a more accurate representation of what the community is feeling because of the upvoting.

Community as a whole must be feeling very meme’y

    I expect so.
    That's what you want.

Here's what HD CM Nick wrote about 14 hours ago:

"People who have been banned on these forums, will stay banned since Clash of Clans, Hay Day and Boom Beach forums will still be open."

i would have few little things to say about very very few mods...nevertheless, i strongly suggest that the appointment of mods be examined more closely...

section ´bugs and pbs’ appear to be the most important to my eyes. the big problem there is that relevant informations are drowned under the comments of so-called ´super pro’ (s). i think efficiency is going slowly down since i create an account.

for the rest, it can be a nice place to talk with others gamers, ok, i just check when i have problems in game, and can understand it s very friendly etc...but do we really need it? i cant say, and dont know either if my post is at the right place!

    have a nice day,
