Ok, so the title wasn't the best description for what I'm trying to say. But in theory what I mean is that when you have the gems to upgrade something(insta-finish it) you only have one option-to complete it all the way.
My idea Is that instead of only one option to finish your buildings with gems, they should give you options (3 in my mind) that could be something like this:
Say you are upgrading your TownHall to lvl10, that takes 14 days right?
Well what I would see is this:
25% completion (3.5 days) for ___ amount of gems.
50% completion (7 days) for ___ gems
And the third option would be
100% for ___ (or the regular gem amount)
This idea could in theory make a lot of people who try and stockpile their gems a lot more happy because some people don't like to use a bulk of their gems for just one building.
