Awesome idea! The game really needs something like this to make it more appealing.

i know of this feature in another game similar to Clash of clans called Samurai Seige.

This is really cool, man!

However, you said a Clan Village can't be attacked if there's someone in edit mode.
I'm sure many people will take this to their advantage, e.g.: they will take turns to go to edit mode and do nothing, and they won't be attacked. Basically, these clans will have an unlimited shield on their Clan Village. So maybe, if someone is in edit mode the CV can still be attacked, and when the battle finishes, the person who was in edit mode will be automatically taken to it and will still have his/her base design.

Once again, amazing idea!
Hope this gets added to the game!
