6. Trophies and Clan Leagues:
That's right, there will be clan leagues. The clan trophy count will determine what trophy league you are in. Clan Trophy League will be calculated like this:
(individual leagues+200)x10=Clan League
For example, you get to be a Bronze III in individual league when you get 400 trophies. For a clan to be in Bronze III, they will need to have (400+200)x10=6,000 trophies to be in Bronze III.
You can click on league info like normal:
But there will be a button labeled "Clan Leagues" which will take you here:

and you can view which league your clan is in.
There will also be league bonuses. For every battle you will win, the whole clan will get a certain amount of resources depending on the league you are in. The amount of resources the whole clan gets is calculated like this:
(resources an individual gets in that league)x10= clan league bonus
For example, a person in Bronze III gets a league bonus of 400 gold and elixir each. That means that if a clan in Bronze III wins a battle, it will get an additional (400)x10=4,000 gold and elixir.

7. Solving the Problems:
Now, I will explain how my idea addresses all the problems associated with Clan Wars:
-not enjoyable by all (ex. something where only the leader can attack)
(Anyone can join the battle.)
-does not follow the spirit of the game (must be something where you can just do something quick and then put it back down)
(Battles only take a few minutes. If necessary, the person could drop all his troops in the best place possible, and turn off the device. It will negatively affect the battle, but not so much as that it would create an automatic loss.)
-requires everyone to sign on at once
(You can donate troops and still get rewards. Also, since several people can start a battle, you can be from any timezone and still participate in a battle.)
-someone opting out largely affects the clan war
(Not really. A lot of people are working together, so one person dropping out won't affect it too much to destroy the battle.)
-exploitable, one clan could battle another clan made of their alternate accounts and effectively "donate" resources
(Battles are random.)
-too complicated
(Maybe, I don't really think so.)
-full of loopholes
(Don't know about that one.)
-something like everyone attacking at once on a giant battlefield
(sorta)
-clan disparities
(Based on TH and Flag Base levels instead of trophies, so you can't purposely drop trophies to fight weaker players.)
-clans dropping trophy levels on purpose to fight weaker players
(See above.)
-dealing with people quitting or joining clans
(Won't make that big of a difference.)
-no incentive, compensation insufficient for the resources paid
(Gem rewards, and who doesn't want gems?)
Positive Effects:
-more teamwork and better connection between clans
-gives something new to do for bored or maxed out people
-gems!
One problem might be is that it takes up too much data, but I never took computer programming so I don't really know.

I would like to thank several people who helped me in the creation of this thread:
1. Tastygaming (a friend at school), who got me into this game, and "supported and motivated me", apparently.
2. dahimi, for telling me all of the problems associated with Clan Wars, so that I could address them accordingly, and is still giving me constructive criticism
3. selleycopter, for encouraging me to add pictures
4. Elothean, for suggesting that I put a reward system to encourage people to participate
5. all the new members who made unspecific "I want Clan Wars" threads, making me want to make one of my own
6. and last but not least, everyone who encouraged and supported me on the forums
Thank you so much, you guys!
