    Maybe it’s both - season reset brought stronger defenses down to the lower ranks, and your Drop Ships are still upgrading. I just ran my 6 attacks for the night - 3 triples, a 98%, a 93%, and a 58%er that will never be spoken of again. 6 for 6, though - I’m sitting just under 4600 now, I think. The Beta Minions got the BH every time (well...except the one that we’re never mentioning again).

    I’m running 3 camps of Drop Ships now too; I mostly ran with 2 until L12, although I’ve been tinkering with 3 at lower levels now that I’m better practiced with the strat.

    Your Beta Minions are level 14, right?

    Are you getting a decent mix of bases? There’s this closed off, brackets style base that gives me fits - you’d THINK coming from the side makes sense, but you need to hit it bottoms up, even though you’ll run afoul of the AirBombs. The 58% 2-Star was from the side; I tripled it the next time, coming from the bottom.

    Try changing it up with 3 camps of Drop Ships at some point - wicked fun. <Grin> So...you’re saying you see a significant difference between L12 and L13 Drop Ships then? When I was at L12, it was still early on so the defenses I faced weren’t as strong.

    Knils - I’ll bet this is where the big difference lies. My other games running Drop Ships are around 3500; I don’t have any lower leveled Drop Ships over 4000 right now, just L14 Minion Drops and L14 Mitch games up here. The lower level games aren’t experiencing the effects of the season reset and the higher level game is upgraded enough to work through it.

    Yes, minions are 14 and using three camps of DS. Not a whole lot of difference with L12 ships last night, I realized that this only lowered the larry cooldown to 3.9 and the larrys get completely wiped anyways, the HP boost comes when I finish L13.

    I got a triple and some high two star, some mid two stars and a couple 1 star fails, one of which should have been a triple but my BM walked ALL the way around the box base to the complete opposite side instead of going through the wall I dropped him next to, leaving him to get pounded by the only remaining double cannon he would have easily taken down had he went through the wall. But as whole my percentages are still not as great as my L14 Mitch, I am losing close battles by percentages that I would normally win with my Mitch percentages. I thought this was supposed to be better Noc! But I can't fully complain until I try L14 ships. 9 More Days, ugh.

    Yeah seeing a variety of all bases, I feel I am pretty good at determining the approach from all my Mitch attacking. I think I know which base you are talking about, it's the longer rectangle style bases you are referring to, you would think it would work great for spreading your nice line of drop ships and minions but they are not concentrated enough as the approach side of the base is too wide, plus the depth is narrow so you are still slammed by the opposite side air bombs and long range defenses. Approaching from one narrow side is most likely better but still scary as they stack those ends with high hit point structures and heavy defenses!

    I think that's the base that most easily falls to bombarch via 3 star. It would have been nice if I was keeping track of the bases I 3 starred, then I would know for certain.

    Been upgrading drop ships continuously and I am only halfway there. Just started the lv 8 upgrade. I hope they're still good by the time they hit max .

    Knils, I just can’t fathom what’s giving you fits; this strat is just paying off in spades for me on my games right now. Even the ones with level 9 and 10 Drop Ships. The lower the level, the lower the percentage, but I’m still at least solid in the seventies almost every time.

    Idk either Noc, I mean I am getting mid 60's some lower 70's and above occasionally, but that just isn't cutting it at ~4500+. I am facing some really tough opponents and constantly have a defense down for upgrade. I feel like I need a solid 80%+ to ensure the win which sometimes isn't even guaranteed, and while I have occasionally achieved these numbers using this strat, it is just proving rather inconsistent at the moment.

    Hoping L14 plus practice makes it better, I am still hopeful

    i used mine from about lvl 6 (now going to 9 or 10 dont recall) and stayed above 4k thru the season reset etc....as long as you have beta14 you are more than ready to go.

    OK, I tried again tonight and I am doing better, I feel like I am getting a better feel for where and when to drop my ships.

    My log right now:
    93% 2 star win
    66% 2 star win
    85% 2 star LOSS to 100% (my giant cannon is down)
    66% 2 star win
    100% 3 star draw - booo
    56% 2 star Loss
    74% 2 star win
    95% 2 star win
    82% 2 star win
    100% 3 star win

    So I went 7-2-1 with two 100%, gained 150 cups all while my giant cannon is being upgraded. Looking forward to more practice and L14 Dropships.

    That’s good. You’re getting closer to where I’m attacking now - mostly in the 70%-100% range with a few three star hits in the Log.
