Putting your farm tag # in your farm name is helpful. I did it for a while when the farm tags were first introduced and some of my GC friends sent me in-game requests.

I, too, would like to move in the direction you are going, but there is no easy way to contact a friend's farm to send an in-game request. It is frustrating to me that I can get requests from people who have shopped at my farm through my ad in the DD, but the little "send request" button doesn't exist on my GC friends. I'm very glad that we got the in-game friends feature, but there is some tweaking I'd like to see. I can't decide exactly what it could be that wouldn't open a can of worms in terms of unwanted contacts.

I agree with you Mini. I can't use Wussy's method as our old iPad has been upgraded as our computers are too😱 I have a husband who upgrades!! Not sure what I will do at this point.

The easiest way would be if Supercell would allow ingame friend requests towards existing GC friends. I hope they will include it in the next update.
