Taking a Knee to the New War Match Making Atrocity

Won a difficult 10 person war. We were out numbered on top 5 and bottom 5

Them 3 Eagles... 11,11,11,10,9,8,8,8,8,7 the TH 10 had no infernos and probably cost them the war.

Us 1 Eagle.. 11,11,11,10,9,9,9,6,3,3 We had the bottom 3 unable to attack. They used 6 attacks to scout the top bases

So our 9s had to clear the bottom or we could have been short attacks. We had no problem

bottom line we got outmatched with 3-1 Eagles and had to out star/percentage to have a chance.

tough war we won 27-26 93%-90%

keep seeing more eagles on top with tough bases.

New war matchup 15/15 is crazy. Same top 3 with near max all Eagles to our 1 max with eagle.

They got all kinds of crazy bases as a LV 8 clan that decided to go full engineered.

Their 11 down with TH 8 is basically defenseless with near max drag lava and loons. Light etc.

All our bases are legit with offense and defense within reason. No reason to get penalized for low level th at the bottom. How could anyone war if you cant war as a new player? Im not concerned with those. Plus we need a few to get to 15vs wars

The issue remains the same as everyone is saying.. top bases arent being matched carefully enough.

Agree, the match described is a tough war mainly in terms of the risk of losing it on defence at the top due to offence lopsidedness there. Offence wise there was the advantage. The other clan could be quite rightly dissatisfied with this match that left half their bases without a realistic sized target due to the roster engineering.

K My strong of the two 11s dropped the Eagle I was caring for several months from the value package lol

My weight went from 92-93k to 105k from that drop.

Lets see what the future wars show. Current war prep is again 3 Eagles to 1 - now 2.

I will be taking time off next week for Disneyland for some peace and quiet for a bit

Going back to the original - For those that war against TH 11s... when ever you get a 3-1 Eagle disadvantage and theyre like 109,109,106 max or near max heroes and youre like 109,95,91 with 1 eagle and not max heroes.. you are starting in a huge hole.

Im not going to discuss that because everyone doing it know.

so the whole purpose of being here is to figure out how is SC matching now?

Are they looking at Eagle as no big deal? has the acceptable spread increased on matches on top? How big is it now?

The way I see it, SC think those Th11's should have eagles so they are being weighted regardless. We've added quite a few infernos to our Th10's and its not like were seeing more Th10's than we used to, it's just now the matchups are more even.

I do think there must be loads of .5s available to match, so is SC purposely matching .5's with full bases regardless to get people building defences again?

the weight seems to go up by a lot, like 12-14k but in actuality the number doesn't seem to matter. all of our 11s are always matching 11s with eagles for the most part and nearly all of our wars are equal on 11s and eagles at the top so we're content. the only variable we see is hero levels. if the enemy has lower hero levels then they tend to get an advantage in the th9 or th10 count below but we use our higher hero offense to full advantage and our 9s and 10s can clear the weak 10s and below with ease leaving our 11s to solely focus on the enemy max 10s and 11s
