really? Someone comes on and says they never see defenseless bases and I look and they got multi wars with th 11s hanging low below 10s and 9s and your into this? Really? Lol
Just an FYI, In the CWSF follow up war (grabbing extra XP) viking, jackrabbit, and myself managed to fool the Matchmaker into thinking we were a non engineered clan despite running a defenseless max offense 45/45/20 th11 and a few other engineered bases. It was unintentional to be sure as we were throwing in accounts to max clan xp and we eeked out a lucky win. Was a good experiment.
We had 3 defense greater then offense th11's at the top, including one of vikings crazy accounts with like a 50,000 gap between offense and defense with defense being the large number. We had a defenseless th10 as well and a few other engineered bases. We matched a normal clan with 3 very developed th11's up top. Thanks to our superior base design for our weak bases, despite loosing in destruction, we won in the star count 54 to 53 (out of 60). Kind of interesting.

Another war ended and we had the win 42/37 94%/86% last guy gave up
They had 7 TH 11s to our 4, and they had 4 Eagles to our 2.
But looking at the numbers, it was fairly matched basedd on our HERO strength in the top 5 and next 5 group of 6-10
It would be nice if people werent so rushed and develop their bases instead of just getting Eagles and Infernos.
That seems to be the biggest factor for us.
top 5 them and us.... 515/490 defense.... heroes 419/477
6-10 players 315/349 and heros 152/234
Their 8-10 just real weak on heroes.
New war prep is a little iin their favor but doable.
Their 1 lv 196 with 1180 war stars got 2 stars on my lower 10.5 91k weight and 80% two star on clan member right above me in the number 3 seat.
If you can hang in the area and not get 3 starred to often its another reason to be very careful about dropping that last huge war weight - eagle

Im convinced that grouping like this and matching and factoring in total as well, with Eagles and any defenseless lower bases will give SC very close and fair matchups.
They must keep a close eye matching high ranking bases on top because thats where most wars are won

We won the war 42-94% to their 37-89%
Their top 5 had 15 total stars to our 21. My 91k 10.5 held off their 3 and 4 attacks giving up 2 stars sitting in thr 4th seat.
that was a close matchup as explained above. Pretty even throughout each 5 player group.
Their record is pretty decent with 42-43 stars and 95-98%.
we both had weak lower bases and they probably match with stronger lower bases giving themselves a better top advantage.
well see if the war MM keep up the recent good job. Just need to keep an eye on those top 5 in particular to be fair.
