Just can’t win this weekend....

For some reason, I just cannot seem to win on any of my games this weekend. I’ve probably lost a couple thousand trophies across 8 or 9 games already.

I hate it when I hit a free fall like this....

8-9 losses is around 250 trophies lost. But anyways, I will suggest

(i) Change your attack strategy. This happened to me last week. My usual combination simply stopped working and I lost 300 trophies. I changed my combination and recovered the losses.

(ii) If you are upgrading a major defence, like fire breather, then maybe it is better to wait till it is upgraded.

(ii) Change the base design. Maybe your attack is the same, but others are getting more percentage on your base. You can use the bracket base, it is good design. I have a hard time defeating those bases, although I don't use it myself.

(iv) Be patient. Win and lose streaks happen a lot of times. If you lose some straight, it is better to log off, and then attack after some time.

LOL. I wish it was just 8 or 9 losses and 250 trophies. 8 or 9 GAMES - figure 4 or 5 losses on each game and it’s more like 40 or so losses and 1000 or so trophies - on the low end - each day.

I get 45% and no stars...my opponent gets a 53% one star.

I get a 53% one star...the other guy gets a 53% two star.

I get a 59% two star...my opponent pulls a 65% two star.

I get 65% and two stars...he walks away with a 71% two star.

I get an 83% two star...the other player triples the base.

I get a 95% two star...my opponent pulls a triple.

It’s been like this all weekend long. Doesn’t matter what base I use, attack strat, where the game is in the trophy rankings, the time of day or night....

The Clash Fates just don’t want me winning this weekend for some reason. I think I’m just gonna go cook some sympathy food and drown my sorrows in something cold and flavorful. Either that or maybe I should play some Burnout Paradise instead.

yep.. it happens..

The best thing to do is try switching up your base, (even to a proven worse one), or cook troops you don't even intend to use (this works for me quite often)

If all else fails, find a comfortable corner (preferably on carpet), place a lucky quarter between your big toes, and stand on your head... Now, the most important part.. ONLY DEPLOY TROOPS WITH YOUR PINKY FINGERS...

I don’t care if the neighbors think I look funny standing on my head; it was working and they shouldn’t be looking in the windows anyway. I need my lucky quarters back.

This happened to me as well. The funny thing is I was comfortably winning about 50% of my matches while MM was going to lvl6. However, as soon as it finished upgrading today I lost 6-7 straight battles. Usually when I go on losing streaks I boost my CT, do as many 0% attacks as possible, log off and come back 8 hrs later to get the 3 wins (I'm near 4k trophies so don't mind losing a couple of hundred trophies).

Same here i am just trying to do my 3 attacks for loot and getting very frustrated i must of done 20 plus attacks now sad but true

Tongue and cheek aside.... Weekends are always tougher on CoC for some reason. Best I can figure is that the better players spend more time playing across all time zones whereas more people just get their three and out during the work week. You know it’s bad when even high percentage two stars are getting beaten and triples are pulling draws.

I’ve had some really good attacks today and yesterday just go down in flames. Just now had an 80% two-star on one of my games where the Crusher is down...the other guy three starred the base. Been like that all weekend, across all trophy levels and all of degrees of development on my BH6 games.

Need my lucky quarters back...gotta find that ice cream truck....

Perhaps the trophy gods were balancing off previous wins.

I’ve not been attacking as my roaster is down. Looking forward to having it maxed though.
