Wow, your designs are lovely LadyJEM and calebmccbabe! Simple yet striking. Love the berry bush as a plot, very creative. I really enjoy the Halloween designs. That's why I have to share, you're welcome! It all gives me great decoration ideas...

WOW! Thanks for all the lovely compliments! I love to decorate for Halloween. It's always been second only to Christmas, especially when my children were younger. And I too have thought about keeping my little plot after the season. Having grown up and still residing in the southern USA, having a family cemetery on the property is not unheard of. It does tend to give a timeless sense of intimacy and continuity to know that 4 or 5 generations are still sort of "looking after" things.

Happy to be a good neighbor & help whenever, but dairy/sugar/seafood cargoes are no goes. No challenges please. Communication is the key to contented players, SC!

Our pets do not like the spider trees. AT ALL

No growling at the spiders, goofball puppies!

They'll make you puke if you eat them, cat-o!

I know this is true from personal experience. My cat Amy ate 3 spiders, then refunded them unexpectedly on the coffee table about an hour later.

It was a part of her kitten-learning process -- from then on she just played with them until their legs fell off.

Again from personal experience: as bad as 8-legged spiders are, 4-,5-, and 6-legged ones are worse. Because your brain does not immediately recognize these unfortunates as spiders for a few seconds, you focus on them. Then when you brain understands what they really are, and they DO register as spiders, it seems the fright is worse. I never understood that, but it is true.
