should SC remove the report button?

global chat is important part of game,SC should do something about it.sometimes i want to go onglobal chat but i dont bcoz i aware the button of REPORT.

Lolz, if you are not using, why use it at all.
Either way global is useful for people until gold III.

That is a false analogy.

Imagine if there was a reporting system in place, in which you could ban people from driving for a day. Now imagine if by driving past some traffic lights in your Ferrari, everyone with Hyundai's would press a magic button and ban you for driving for a whole day.

That is what global is like. A bunch of jealous children reporting their betters to feel powerful. It must stop.

No it's not, it's like giving everyone a wheel clamp and letting them use it how they like, all because one person is not following the traffic rules.

We have a mute button, just mute people you don't want to hear from.



Report is the single dumbest feature they have ever implemented. (and that's including the base editor that won't let you save more than one version of your base)

I was reported the other day simply because someone asked if their base was good.
I said, "you need better splash damage buildings, but otherwise it's good"
he says, "that's mean, I am reporting. everyone report Phil"
two minutes later I am reported out of global.

It's simply a dumb, dumb way to do it.

Out of spite now, I report annoying noobs in the hope that enough others will as well and get them removed.
I am permanently on "You can not report anymore"

Yes, and also we need Moderators in chat, people are now creating pictures of body parts with the white and black blocks and other bad words. These people need to be MUTED!!! Even though we can mute 75% of global is filled with these goons and it is hard to find a good global nowadays to look for a new clan, recruit or meet new people.

I like helping people on global. I have been reported for:

(a) misstyping the name of the girl I was helping (no, I'm not joking);
(b) booting a guy from my clan who came in, demanded dragons, tried to blackmail me into giving him one by threatening to tell global how bad my clan was if I didn't;
(c) responding with a "3" (I was being generous) to a guy who asked me to rate his base - btw his response to my rating was to swear at me at least a few times (I muted him quickly). And yes, before he started swearing I was starting to give him tips on what to do;
(d) bc some kid went on global after I said "heyhey global" (nothing else) and said "report him"; and
(e) someone meant to hit "visit" and pressed "report" instead - they apologised.

The mute button is awesome because they can never be unmuted, whereas reporting people who should not be on global only suspends them for a short time.

So the next time they see me on and want my tips this time, or to join my clan again, too bad, you lose.

The Report button shouldn't be removed but SC should change it so that users are able to report the offending messages whch in turn will be logged with SC to check, if the message is found not to be offensive, then user who did the report will be banned from global for 24 hours for time wasting and obviously if found offensive then the offender will be banned for 24 hours from global...

This would make people think twice before reporting someone...

SC has more things to do than skim through millions of reports. just imagine if 75% of 2 million reports were all false, dont you think SC would flip a table over?

the best solution is to just remove the report button and to use the mute ban to silence those naughty players on global.
