I would definitely recommend using 2 healers, it does mean sacrifing some extra giants but the 2 healers together make an enormous difference to how long your giants last. I've even tried experimenting with 3 healers and the giants are virtually immune from death but it takes forever to take down a base as you have too few attacking troops. On healer just isn't enough at this level.
with regards to the other troops, I use a 60/40 mix of archers and goblins, as well as about 8-10 wbs. I only pick a base with 150-200k of resources, always with at least one exposed air def or one with minimal protection. I then deploy all giants where they make a direct line for the AD, then after the defensive buildings start attacking them I deploy wbs in pairs with about a second or so between them, depending on how the walls are set up(only enough to expose the AD and open some compartments up for the giants), then immediately release a batch of archers so they can attack the buildings that are attacking the giants. As soon as the AD is down deploy both healers so they move straight to the giants. You have to be careful not to wait till the giants are too far away or the healers may stick to some archers instead, pick bases carefully with this in mind.
Then, as the the giants start to penetrate the initial compartments with archer support, deploy more wbs to open more compartments. At this point, unless the base is a lot stronger than your troops, I sit back and wait. You will learn to judge where the giants are going and you can deploy more archers around the outside of the base where the giants are heading (I always wait until the defensive buildings are attacking the giants before deploying archers there as they are then likely to ignore the archers even when being attacked by them). Only when time drops below a minute or most of the defenses are down do I deploy the gobs, however you can deploy them earlier if sections of the base with resources have been cleared of defenses. On occasion I have released gobs within the last 30/45 seconds and grabbed all the resources with seconds to spare, admittedly this is rare but makes for an exciting battle.😄. I find patience pays off with regards to releasing gobs. The healers buy you a lot of time so there is no need to rush the attack (something I always have to do when not using healers).
Try this combo but experiment a few times and see whether you need more or less of the archers and gobs depending on your style. This has worked very well for me at TH6, 7 and 8 and I am likely to continue to use it at TH 9 unless it proves radically different at that level. Once you have access to lightning spells keep 2 handy for really big loot bases where you can afford to take down one AD and use TH above strategy for the other AD.
sory for the long post, I got a bit carried away 😁 hope it helps.
