All I want to say-who has engineered bases?answer is-leader or co leader. No player has only engineer base. They all have one atleast non rush non engineer balnce base.why they include engineer bases in war? Answer is to get advantage.Just play with your real main account in war.exclude the engineer bases from war.use it for donation purposes.Just like a muderer kill 5 people and other kill 10 dont indicate who kill 5 is less dangerous.so 5% or 90% a engineer base is engineer base.
Exclude them and play fairly and if you are new to townhall.Dont play war for 1 month.upgrade your war troops and then play as much as you can.simple.

Yep. It doesn't make sense a 9.5 been matched against an engineered th11, while a maxed th 10 is been matched against a maxed th10. Stronger bases should be matched against stronger opponents. It's just comon sense.
If your hypothesis is right, then dropping defenses early would be a necessity to everyone, and the .5 rout would end very quickly. I hope we have soon an accurate view of this matter.

It's funny, you cry and whine when you get outweighed and moan to Supercell to fix it. Now that somebody else is getting outweighed you jump for joy and cheer on Supercell for doing it....

I participate in a couple clans and in our first war searches after the update, we're still seeing that clans with heavily engineered rosters are able to have an unbeatable advantage in war. We just matched where our top guy is a new TH10 (no defensive upgrades yet, no TH10 troop upgrades yet but he has done spell factory and clan castle). The rest of our roster are TH9s and lower. We just matched with a clan with a TH11 (one inferno), two offensively maxed 9.75s, The rest 9s or lower, but their bottom 6 bases are defenseless TH3s. Every single one of this enemy's attacks on us will be a dip of at least one town hall level, and we don't have the firepower to beat their top bases.
Either SuperCell is unable to fix this scenario or they aren't interested. I think my clan's next move will be to kick some people out of the clan to make room for a bunch of defenseless TH3s that we can pad our war roster with in order to remain competitive. I personally don't think this is what SuperCell had in mind for clan war matchmaking, but this is what now has to be done to have a fair chance of winning wars.
This is my worry. From what I have seen so far, it seems slightly engineered clans are getting horrible matches. Maxer clans are hit and miss getting at least 50% terrible matches. Heavily engineered clans are getting bad matches in their favor. It doesn't seem to be an improvement to me, although it is early. I just hope players keep warring long enough to actually have time to evaluate and improve it. I think for many, this will be their last straw.
What do you disagree with? I think I agree with all of what you said here other than perhaps how we describe maxers that relented and engineered as they moved forward in war due to the matchmaker telling them for years that this was the best way to upgrade. I have no ill will toward them, even though I want to end the advantage of engineering. Other than the symantics of the label, it appears we agree on what the end result should be.
Contact SC here. Click here for how trophies are calculated. An idea to improve legends here. I wish max players had a separate loot bank as described here. Caution, I often discuss for the sake of discussion and enjoy having my opinion challenged (or approved of) even when I care little about the actual issue. My balance wish: get rid of tornado trap, make it a decoration.
Match making: still horrible. I am on a 6 hour spin. No worries. I just cancelled it. Maybe tomorrow.
The real issue is that supercell cant fix this problem. You have over 5 years of unchecked engineered and rushed bases. This "fair-play" label is so mis-used and mis-understood.
And people direct their hatred and discontent at these engineered clans. When in fact, supercell allowed this behavior unchecked for over 5 years. You know what, supercell gladly took their money. Perhaps, unintended that supercell wanted engineered bases to evolve, but they did. But you know what, they did nothing to stop it. 5 years later: really?
It is so comical, supercell is agitating and alienating a huge portion of their customer base. God only knows how many rushed and engineered bases there are. But my guess is in the millions.
If the game becomes horrible, just stop playing it. Its that simple. Life will go on.
Fortunately, i have spent nothing on clash of clans.
If i were an engineered base, i would would want a refund from supercell, assuming you spent money on it.
