    15 player war, they had 6 th11s we had ZERO. This is now the 5th terrible match on the spin, the other side has a big th11 advantage every time. I assume sc are working hard on this, if the BB gets an update before this is fixed then it could very well kill the game. Not overnight but it will be the beginning of the end.

    Hello to all,
    with the new matchmaking in my clan (lvl 9), we lost 11 wars of the last 14. Previously, we won about 60% of the wars ....
    We only have a minimax (th9) and two th8.5. We often have two or three th11, opponents at least one or two th11 more.
    Wars with 20 or 25 players

    For me, matchmaking with total weight is worse than before.
    Because a balanced village in attack and defense, with the same total weight of a village built only in attack, is disadvantaged in war... without doubts (the balanced village has a weaker attack of the minimax).

    It would be best to consider only offensive weight and to impose equal number of TH in the matchmaking: it would push everyone to develop also the defenses as well (the dead of minimax)

    It has been a week and so far no commment from SC after their twitter said they were going to make adjustments. You would think they would have enough info with 117 pages just on this thread alone detailing the mis-matches and possible suggestions. At the end of the day people play Clash of Clans primarily for Clan Wars. No one asked for or wanted the Clash Royale rip-off builder base and farming steadily to get one more block of wall or one more Hero level is boring,lets face it. We do it all to have the troops and base to go to war with. If the match making is not fixed it completely ruins the game as clan wars is the only thing that keeps most people coming back.

    Matchmaking is finally working again! You broke it in March of 2017 and now you fixed it!!

    When we do wars, we have a chance to WIN each and every war!

    FINALLY!

    That's all we want ... a chance to WIN!!

    No surprises, we lost. (48 v 51)

    So, before we started the 15th War search, we decided to delay the search by 4Hrs. We were starting at 2pm UK, and 95% of our matches were against Asian / Far East clans. with the delayed start, we have got a fairly even match, against a clan from Finland.

    Us

    1-9 TH11 with EA
    10-11 TH11 no EA
    12-17 TH10 with both infernos.
    18-19 TH10 no infernos (both new TH10s)
    20 TH9

    Them
    1-8 TH11 with EA
    9-10 TH11 no EA
    11-15 TH10 with both infernos.
    16 TH10 with 1 inferno
    17 TH10 no inferno
    18 TH11 no EA or Inferno, Lv20 GW and most troops maxed.
    19-20 TH9.

    We have a slight advantage on Defence, 1 EA, 3 Infernos. Offence we are pretty evenly matched, both have 11 TH11s with GWs, both have similar number of maxed troops.
    Should be a close war.

    Might be coincidence, but moving war start time and we don't get a heavily engineered Opponent. Also not an Asian clan.


    Conspiracy theory starts here..... SC don't want to nerf Engineered Clans, as most of them are Asian, and who owns SC, an Asian company...

    Before I can draw any conclusions, I'll wait and see what our next war search brings.

    We are L12 clan that was accustomed to winning 75% of our wars in the last 3 years with solid attacks and good defense. In the last 19d, we have 2 wins and 7 losses where our opponent averages 93% to 96% destruction. Not sure what you did but it has become somewhat demoralizing to our clan of 47. Our current war only has 10 engaged.

    I should add that the opponent usually more th11s than our 2 or 3 or they are further advanced in the game.

    In new War MM announcement we were told that offence power will also be added in the new allogrithm (That is really admireable to control the offence advantage by one team over other). Sorry to say, practically it seems they give the major priority to match-up TH figures only, and for this (To some extend) they have started ignoring both defence and offence.
    In my opinion total weight of Defence and Offence should be the major things to match-up opponents. With new MMS COC will become only a game of skill but no strategy.
    Follow or ignore, this is only a suggestion.
