    He said "non engineered" and there is another example of a non engineered clan getting hammered by an engineered clan right above this post of yours. Remember for each engineered clan that you are happy to see reporting a mismatch, there is an engineered clan happy to be on the other side of it. I've yet to see any evidence that there has been any improvement at all. It is still early, but I'm not seeing it.

    Agree...not seeing drastic "improvements." Still need some more data, but appears to be the same more or less.

    I'm only on page 8 of reading through all the comments, but one thing stands out massively here:

    Clash of Clans is still making boatloads of cash daily, they have NOT seen a significant drop in their revenue. (specifically from people dropping the game because of war MM) Seeing as they have not, they will not put their small team of devs on rebuilding the warMM system from the ground up. This will take a very long time, as "they have a small team". It just doesn't make sense for them, when they sit in their boardroom meetings and discuss the issues/future of the game. I can only see them denying it affects revenue, and gratefully setting aside the war MM issue.

    Honestly, it looks as if they did absolutely nothing with this war mm update, mismatches are still evident, massively so. I would not be surprised if they just did nothing, but mentioned they 'tweaked' the MM. which wouldn't be a lie if they went and changed something small which didn't have an effect on their engineered bases, who provide revenue.

    I honestly think that right now there are so many engineers, and so many more to come, that the system will probably just continue as is. They have stated they don't want to take away the engineering advantage. We know their revenue is still high, these two facts tell us verbatim that they are not going to be doing anything drastic to what is currently occuring within war in Clash of Clans.

    I think once we all realise this, we need to make one of two choices:

    1) accept, this is it, they are NOT going to nuke engineering, we need to adapt (sounds like Dec 2015 right?) which is what most have done by building their own engineered bases.

    2) decide enough is enough, stop warring but still play the game (and spend money) or quit entirely (which most won't do, supercell KNOW this).

    If you were Supercell and you were thinking about these people wanting the war matchmaking system changed... what would you do, knowing what I've said above? I'm sure if you were sitting cosily in Finland, earning big bucks, you'd rather put your 'small' team of devs to work on future updates which make them more money. Rather than letting them spend an age fixing something that won't make them boatloads of cash in the near future. (even though it might save their game in the long run). We've all seen that a lot of what SC do aren't for the best of the game in the long run, this is no exception.

    Totally Agree!

    and to another post higher, one thing i have not seen posted by SC yet is what moves they were trying to accomplish with the war matchmaking change. we know its changed, in our case it seems worse. makes us wonder whether they were trying to make it worse for clans without engineers, or better for the engineers.?

    Yes, SC it's totally fine to do that. These players will simply adjust. MAKE THEM ADJUST

    Us (No Engineered bases)
    3 th11s (2 w/eagles)
    9 th10s (6 w/Infernoes)
    6 th9s
    2 th8s

    Them:
    12 th11s (3 w/eagles & nearly all with max air troops, including their #17 lol)
    5 th10s (1 w/infernoes)
    3 th9s

    I hope the MM gets better.

    Would you please point to an SC statement on the above (red)?

    I came to know something today which shocked me.

    I know that at least 150 students in my school played CoC and all of them were maxers (th4-8, none of them engineered, around 10 of them at th9, each class had a clan for itself)

    Now, only around 10 of them play, most of them quitting because of engineering. Apparently, one of them even got matched against a clan with max th9 at the top, 3 defenseless th3 and 5 th11 defenseless in a 15V15 war, while their clan had one th9(with level 2 x-bow), rest were a mix of th4-8.
    As I said, none of them were engineered and after wars like that(they had many such wars), they have quite playing.

    We just got our second match up and there is something strange about the match maker.

    It's not awful but still much different then expected. So we kept our lineup the same to see what type of results we could get.

    Last war we were outmatched horrible 2-11, 2-10, 5-9, 1-8 them 6-11 and 4-10 Pulled out a lucky win tied on stars won on % they were bad attackers even though they had 3X the hits on our top bases.

    This war we got 2-11, 3-10, 5-9's which is much closer but the overall bases are much harder all the 9's are max D 20+ hero, the 10's all in late stages 30+ hero, 11's both LVL5 inferno LVL2 eagle 40+ hero.

    Our 9's are mid to early stage 9's low level x bows 10-20 hero's 10's mid progression LVL2 inferno 30's hero, and our 11's 1 max one TH10 max with new towers down and LVL1 eagle.

    Should be a decent matchup I think SC may have got this one right.... even if were on the short end of the deal.

    Reading through this thread there's perhaps 6(?) posts giving feedback on the cannon cart.
    And 270 or so giving feedback on, or talking about, the war MM.

    I hope someone at SC ponders on the significance of the discrepancy in those numbers

    Yep. The Cannon Cart still sucks, and there's just not much else to say about it.
