Yeah I think there's some bloody-mindedness programming in there. The bit of code that carefully examines what you need and removes any chance of getting it. It's also coded to remember what you just sold off and reduce your chances of getting it again to 2%

To differentiate even more. The large single one is a plank. Used for barn expansion
the smaller double ones are the panels. Used for silo

It does not work for me either. I get loads of nails and bolts, was selling them off yesterday and I would get more nails and bolts. I ended up turning to trading last night and traded away both nails and bolts for planks(I don't get any of these). I shorted myself 6 bolts for my barn expansion to get the last needed planks. Took about a half hour and I got my 6 bolts back and was able to expand.

Today I am back to getting nails and bolts, but zero of the 2 that seem to be my problem, planks and screws.

The other 2 panels and tapes, once I get to the needed amount for the next barn or silo expansion on these 2, I then get tons of them. If I sell off the extra, then I will get more.

If the intention of the developers is to drive you nuts in this area, then have done an outstanding job!

Well actually i sold of a lot just for space and then i got the rest i needed for 1 expansion so i think it works....
