TH8 Loot Sucks

I honestly believe OP is experiencing some heavy confirmation bias. Almost everyone agrees that loot is best at TH 7 and 8. Sure, you may be having a dry spell, but don't correlate your bad luck to an overall lack of loot at these levels. If you know about statistics, your sample is too small to apply your findings to the greater population.

That being said, I suggest two things to you

1. Keep on trucking. You are having a bad streak, but it will pick up.
2. Quit whining on the forums. It doesn't really help anyone and creates a chance for you to get trolled.

I'm not whining, I'm complaining. And eight months is a VERY long time for a "bad luck spell" or whatever you call it. It's kind it ignorant to generalize everyone as having a great experience in TH8. My brother has been a premature TH9 & now TH10 and the dreaded generalization of "premature is bad" doesn't apply to him.

It could be taken that way, but you have to try pretty hard to do so. The more straight forward way to take it is that th8 is comparatively a paradise compared to th9 and th10.

TH7 and TH8 have by far the best loot in the game. If you're complaining about loot, you should figure out what you are doing wrong.

Also what's going on with your base? I really don't understand why people put their town halls outside of their walls and defend them. You are getting the worst of both worlds by doing that. You make it hard for people to give you a free shield and also encourage them to three star you. In addition you are using defenses for your th that would be put to much better use defending your storages.

I think we can summarize all of these arguments by just saying that loot is bad for some, good for some, and unchanged for the rest. Simple. No need to try and prove who's right and who's wrong. There are no winners or losers here.

FWIW: I fall into the unchanged category...my average loot gain has been about the same taken on a week-to-week basis.

Im at th8 and had up until recently had made really good loot. When the change SC recently did I have lost about 50% of my earnings. But I can agree with one thing about your post and th8 loot. We dont have the troops of th9-10 to climb up where the loot bonus alone is sweet and down here at gold there are alot of th6-7s that just arent producing for some reason. Soon as I pop a few lvl6 troops im heading to master. The loot bonus there is better than the current loot for me per battle in gold.
No lie loot is horrible right now.

I was TH8 for a few months, and the biggest struggles I had were at lower trophy levels. If you've been TH8 for months, you should be able to push your trophies up until you feel the loot is better. You should also find it sharpens your raiding skills... not just attacking more efficiently, but picking the right base to attack.

I've just recently moved to TH9, after maxing pretty much everything in my TH8 except a couple of troops and spells in the lab, and a few skull walls... took me maybe 4 months? I spent the last month or more around Crystal, ideally Crystal 2. So there's definitely loot out there somewhere for TH8!

Try sub-200 and any base with at least 150K loot

Wait until your TH9: less loot AND the loot penalty starts working against you more than for you
