I honestly dislike TH8, I know a rare find indeed. But I can't agree with those that say TH8 is so great and amazing. It's too sporadic for my taste. At least at TH7 it was in a good decent area and it stayed there. TH8 it varies from 1250-1400, 1500-1700, etc. And when I move from one to the other the loot moves to where I was at before. If I stay it's either up or down. I've been at TH8 since Feb-March. With too many periods of builders being asleep because I couldn't find loot. I can't wait until I get to TH9, at least I know all of the high loots are in the high level trophies. Anyone feel differently or, more preferably, the same?

The loot sucks in al the town hall levels. This new update was stupid. It's great for lower town hall player but now you have to battle difficult players that are as good as you or better to get the loot. Great for beginners but most of us had to fight through when we were lower level players and we battled constantly to upgrade our Town Halls. Now, you are better off not to upgrade your TH because it lowers your loot available. Those of us that have invested time and money to this game should have the same advantage as the players that come before us.

I really don't think he was bragging here. He's just implying that finding good loot at TH10 is much harder than TH8. I suggest you try and calm down and start drinking decaf...

Yeah the loot is tricky somedays. For the past week I've been at 16-1700 trophies and been getting GREAT loot. Bragging about it too. Now it seems to have disappeared. I'm now at 1500 and its just terrible there.

Thankfully since coming to TH8 a few months ago, I've done a good job of keeping builders busy. I have 3 days before another one is free, so hopefully the loot will shift to somewhere close by as I have some expensive upgrades to do!

I guess the availability of loot varies depending on what part of the country/world one is in because I'm a TH8 and I have no problems finding good loot in the 1400-1600 range.

I agree with you. However I learnt that to be successful in the off periods, take what you can with a small amount of troops. This means you can maintain your GPH. If you're too bored with TH8 like me, just move to TH9

At 1,480-1,600 and getting crazy loot like after a few searches(more than usual) I am getting 300K loot of each easy naming is fun

I just finished all the skull walls and maxed my TH8, so the loot seems to be OK for me.
