    Wizards!!! Searching the forums...

Hey guys! I'm relatively new to these forums and I don't wanna be "that" guy who simply asks for answes to a question without searching for himself; BUT the search feature is not pulling up on my iPhone (I use chrome, maybe that's why?) so I'm just looking for some advice on how to effectively use wizards. I know they are powerful and lots of higher cup players use them.

However, I haven't unlocked golems or PEKKAS so how else can they be used effectively? They are sorta sissy on the health and after improperly deploying them to their death, I felt like I should just ask for help.

What's the secret to using them well? I'm not looking for "give me the perfect army comp with X wizards and Y barbarians to win!"
I just want to understand how they can be useful beyond GoWiPe?

I use the wizard/wb/giant army often, and i also add a healer/heal spell once and awhile, use the giants as a meat shield and the wizards will do the rest. As you said barbs/wizards are also a good army comp. but I would only recommend wizards if your trophy pushing or going for storage raids.

what town hall and trophy range are you at?
Wizards are a though low-hit point troops can handle a few mortar blasts. Wizards need an effective meat shield but you don't have to use them in mass for example giants and healer(optional) deploying the giants and look to make sure you have the attention of most of the defensive towers in that area then deploy the wizards. It's smart to deploy as quick as you can after the meat shield so that it will follow them

I like to use healer giant, but dropping the giants, then a dragon to gain the attention of any air defenses in the area, then 2 of my 4 healers, and then dropping the wizards in range of a few point defenses so that the healers that i drop with them don't go over to the giants.

4 healers + a bunch of wizards work really well.

As other posters have said, wizards need some kind of support to perform well.

Well, if GoWiPe is not available to you, then we will have to substitute the Golems for Giants and PEKKAS for Giants as well. So we can have:

    15 Giants
    1 Healer
    12 Wizards
    45 Archers
    8 Wallbreakers
    1 Heal
    2 Rage
    Substitute the rest for Giants/Archers

Just lure out CC and Heroes, kill with about 20 Archers, send in Giants on weakest side of the base, deploy 3 wall breakers, then Healer, then some more wallbreakers until 2 layers of the base are opened up, you may use one Heal Spell and One Rage Spell.

Then send in 4 wizards and the rest of your Archers. On the side next to this, send in your Hero(s) and 4 more wizards. Once your first wave breaks to the core, send in your remaining Wizards and put a Rage Spell on the Giants where there are the most defenses. Leave the rest to them!
