Did you see the post a few a up? They moved to 1600 trophies and the problem seems to have greatly diminished. So much aggravation over nothing.

I think all threads on this topic should be closed... honestly its so dumb to complain about this ♥♥♥♥. You can make it back in 1 freaking raid or JUST UPGRADE YOUR STORAGE FROM LVL 1

OP lightning spells on DE is not a bug. Just move up to about 2000 cups and farm

This problem can be solved in 2 ways:
1. Supercell put more levels for the DE storage in the next update.
2. Higher trophies.

And to the people who use lighting to take DE only:

I had never even thought about lighting spelling DE until I saw this thread. Thanks guys, I can't wait to try this out! Finally ill be able to upgrade my BK and dark troops!

What trophy range? The maxed th10 i guarantee didn't get enough for it to matter.

He's cup count was 2150
I'm hovering at 2200-2300
He dropped 5 lightings and took around 1,200

@juigglypuff: this has nothin to do with hate or rage, its just superfrustrating to lose 3.000 DE just cause of the spell. ITS NOT A FIGHT! Everyone is invited to try to Take my DE with his troops... That would be a Fight...

Some ppl need the DE for king at TH7 and can't get it so they have to lightining.

Once Upon a Time... I had filled my lv6 DE storage to about 160k, and I only RARELY gotten Thored.
maybe your just unlucky

Everyone knows the problem...

whenever you reach like 35.000 dark elixir it happens --> cowards stealing dark elixir with p***y Lightning spell! Making it impossible to upgrade the Heros...

A Solution could not be easier: INFERNO TOWER PROTECTS STORAGES AGAINST LIGHTNING SPELLS WITHIN ITS REACH!
just against these spells! Got me?

But supercell does not solve this frustrating problem... Maybe its not of interest in commercial regards...

Hidden tesla makes lightning spell way weaker so it only takes out a little bit of de, i came up with this because hidden tesla's are unlocked at town hall 7 with dark elixir storage so yea so all the town hall levels from level 7 can protect their DE
