I love all of the ideas in this post, including the comments and additions by others, and it has been by FAR the most comprehensive thread I've read that makes a great attempt at incorporating new aspects and dynamics to this game, which we have not seen before. The author truly delivered in his Quest

to suggest additions to this game that would keep it alive longer and make it more appealing to those of us that still play, to the new players that join every day, and to those that are considering (or already have) quitting this game.
Let's face it: at some point, after thousands of attacks (literally, tens of thousands for some of us), this game becomes monotonous and robotic in nature. Even if you are a gemmer, you either know that you can only spend so much and enhance your base so much, or if you have nearly maxed your base, you might lose that beautiful feeling for the game that so many times brought you the thrill and excitement from a new upgrade or trying out a new attacking technique, to name a couple. I truly believe that the dynamic of this game needs to change, not by much, but these suggestions are by far a great step forward in truly making this game a more collaborative endeavor towards creating a real Clash of Clans.
I would like to add one small suggestion to the 'Good Friend' quest: instead of donating X number of troops in Y hours, we should be required to donate X number of a <certain type of troop> in Y hours, which would randomly change based on TH lvl and possibly progress in the game based on individual stats, such as troops' levels. We could be required to donate, say 10 witches, 5 dragons, 20 wizards, etc to complete that quest instead of, say, donate only 60 troops in 4 hours.
