I'm pleased that there is now an opportunity for farmers to comment and give input on both future desired features, and on the tweaking of recently added features.

I agree! 100%!

And here is my venting:

(1) I have no soybean, and I haven't seen any soybean in the paper for days!!! That means, no more milk, no more bacon, and no more wool. Do you know how many products take milk and milk products! I can't feed my cows. The pig feed takes soybean, too, so no bacon. And the sheep takes feed with soybean too. So, no ice cream, no coffee, no cakes, no hamburgers, no blankets, no smoothies, no coffee. I feed the cats and kittens, and I can't feed the dogs and puppies! Nothing that needs milk or milk products, nothing that needs bacon or products with bacon, and nothing that needs wool and wool products. Aaaaargh!

(2) I have missed a lot of puzzle boats because I can't fullfil the crates! I can't make cheesecakes because I need cheese, I can't make the cheese without milk. I cannot harvest milk, if my cows are dead, because I can't feed them because I have no soybean! I asked for help on the ones that I can't even make cuz I don't have that machine. Something from the hot dog stand, think. Its wrapped in green. So this will be my umpteenth time of letting a puzzle boat go unfinished?

(3) How far can I go on the derby without cows, pigs, and sheep, I wonder!!!

This hours I made my fourth cornucopia tasks (400points) and I have enough corn to feed my animals ;-)
This is a question of tactics and strategy in this game. Thats why I love the game. Between two tomato sowings I sow another grain which I need for the animals.


That you have a bottleneck is not the fault of the game, but your strategy.

I have had my own Hay Day meltdown over the features that bother me the most:

Mainly the forced booster columns in the derby -- WTHeck?? Stop taking away my opportunity to "win" something useful!! And the sllllloooooowwwwwww process of collecting puzzle pieces and permits -- stingy much HD?

But I've come to realize that the "So What" Sanctuary is just that. What. Ever. And thank goodness. My free diamond hoard is growing and I have nothing to spend them on (even another puzzle boat event -- no thank you!) Can't wait for new decos now!

And I've also accepted that Hay Day is not going to do what I want them to do. So now they can only surprise me....

Before retirement, the software company I was with had a system on the online helpdesk that allowed end users to vote for them.

Enhancement requests were examined to see if they were lovicaandlin keeping with the product.

Then an estimate was attached to the task, this translates into the number of user votes required for the work to be scheduled.

The users all had a number of votes (say 10), they could then put all 10 onto one feature, or spread over several ... but the easy way here could be one user one vote per week.

the droppings for sylo and Barn are down for all levels. The derby prizes are horible ans noticeable down for same barn and sylo levels. Despite complaints, the special derbies suck for all levels, and suck for dd as well. The sanctuary, alas the lame zoo, has disappointed wveryone but the perennial pollyanas. Everyone wants town betterments, everyone wants no musical instruments. For a company that is so stern on thied parties software, you are curiously dependent om fb to save your game ( wake up, this the 21 st century), and tweaks your dripings so much, ppl only get to upgrade by joining some fb or here threads!!!
and do not bother telling me it is random!! The chance of getting only the same lem/bem/sem is as rare as getting a mix.
I understand there is a selling point there, but frankly

many of you say, stop playing itif you do. It is not that simple, seriously, we that complain are the ones that resist not playing it!!!. We want to keep at it wtout frustation, and it is up to sc to balance it.

You assume too much. I did not like all of the themed derbies, but I liked some. Some people want musical instruments, some have enough. While the puzzle pieces come slow for the sanctuary, I am okay with the pace now. I have never used the trading thread, but I balance my shortages for upgrades by working my farm, my town and buying from hoodies and from the newspaper.

you should maybe take some time to read Frisco's response to this thread and read above for cowslips link to ilovehayday's thread regarding improvements.

These things took their toll already.... You can tell the game lost millions of players by how impossible it is to get boat help these days... Even wheat crates dont get filled unless you advertise something 10 times. Really quite sad... I feel like the game will completely die off in the next few years...its already dropping on the app store.

Hmm. I'm not noticing this at all. I often times don't even have to advertise for helps -- my friends and followers come and take care of it prior to me even getting to my farm stand....
