Welcome to the forums. It is a bad match up, that is easy to see. But match making doesn't care what level clan you are or how many trophies you have. These match ups currently exist due to the faulty MMA. Nothing I can say will make these match ups not happen. Darien(SC community manager) said they are working on making sure match ups like these do not happen in the future after they put the updated MMA in place. Painfully, it is obviously not in place.

Just to inform you.. clan level does not matter..and that being said.
Devloppers are working on this... I request you kindly hold on for some time... the new update regarding MM may be fruitful to you.

I don't think that he said any such thing. I have read, and heard, him say that they will continue to match off of a single consolidated clan weight number. That leaves the door wide open for roster engineering resulting in gross mismatches. Although Darien seemed to imply in his written statement that engineers would match with engineers, he said the opposite in the Ash interview. He made it clear that there would be no "in-lane" considerations. OP did not share how many sandbags each clan was running. (It looks like OP clan normally runs 3 TH5 and 2 TH6 at the bottom). The new system may harm the use of defenseless, but it will not likely kill off engineering completely, nor is it really likely to solve mismatches.

He clearly said, in the interview, that th9's should NOT be matched with TH11's and they were working on that.

Edit: 15 minutes into the interview he clearly picks out what I posted and said "that is what we are trying to avoid here".

As others have said there is no need to point out trophies or clan level, as they are irrelevant to the match. It does look like you pulled a bad match, although without seeing it all it is hard to say for sure. Unfortunately, I don't think roster engineering will be solved with the coming changes, but I hope I am wrong. OP, you should block out the names in your photos by the way.

The fact that you actually point out trophies and mention clan level tells me you know nothing how the MM works.
Dont tell me what it should do. Tell me what it does.
