Unlike most of my posts on this sub-forum, this post isn’t about a card idea. It’s about I&FR.

The I&FR Commoners Group
Surprised, right? I’m as well. I never imagined I’d make a group like this ever. But here we are. I&FR is sadly dying as a community. Some great card creators like Archmage101 and TheDankPrince (now banned ) have gone inactive. To keep the spirit alive of I&FR alive, I thought something needs to be done about this situation. Coincidently, I just returned to the forums after a brief hiatus and seeing this condition of I&FR made me sad. The place that used to be full of some interesting and unique card ideas changed into a place for popularity contests. I talked to Zygarde for a while and we thought that we should do something that hasn’t been done in I&FR yet. Make something for the whole community. No, I’m not talking about popularity contests, or a thread containing the ideas of all the prominent card creators. I’m talking about a group for all members of I&FR to both help others and get help from others. A common place for all to share ideas, and think of them together. Make something for the community as a whole; not just for getting some popularity. Delivering to the community what it deserves. I proudly present to you The I&FR Commoners Group.

Requirement
The only requirement to join this group is that you should have at least 15 posts on the forums. This will help us filter out some newly created fresh spawns (believed to be alternate accounts) at least at some level. This will also show us that you’re active on the forums and are not just joining this group for the fun of it.

Rules
Every great organisation has some rules that must be followed. The I&FR Commoners Group has some too. But don’t worry, these rules aren’t harsh. You would yourself want these rules to exist to make the I&FR smoother for everyone.

1: You must abide by all forum rules

2: This group is english only. Speaking a language other than english is not allowed.

3: No intentional rude behavior or insulting / disrespecting other group members.

4: Swearing or posting sexual and vulgar content is strictly forbidden. Note that simulated swearing will be counted as actual swearing

5: No spamming or posting wrong content in the wrong place, post everything in their respective location.

6: Any type of advertising (apart from things related to I&FR) inside the group will not be tolerated.

7: No racism, nazism, communism or anything of that sorts.

8: Debating is allowed but saying rude comments while doing so is forbidden.

9: Always use common sense and act based on the situation.

10: Uninformed inactivity for more than 2 weeks will get you kicked out of the group. Be sure to inform the group before inactivity.

Zygarde and me are just for enforcing the rules and managing the group. We are as equal as the other members when it comes to deciding anything about the group or I&FR.

Well, you have mostly quoted the forum rule bit by bit after mentioning forum rule as rule no.1

I like the iniative but try to keep any politics out of discussions there. While you & Zygarde rightfully should remain the creator of the group.

Any decision made/taken in the group must be a result of the majority.

If so, then I'll be happy to associate myself with this group.

I think you missed some part of it. Under the group management heading, I’ve mentioned that Zygarde and me are just for enforcing rules and managing. Any decision will be taken by the community together.

I'm in, seems the I&FR has died, I remember when I had card ideas, loved to share em, but now I can't think of anything lately and I've been busy, so I haven't been able to do anything

BUT you'll be happy to know I'm working on something with MrPancakeGuy and bearjedi (at least I think so )

I may not be joining discord but here I'll do my best to help IFR. I just hope that the initiative should be able to improve the situation in IFR.

Also, as much as I've seen or being a part having personal differences with any member..I'll advice all to keep that thing outside of here.

Seriously though, yes. I+FR was slowly wasting away. No good quality posts for a while. I shifted my focus on General Discussion instead. So of course I would love to join. Are there going to be challenges of any kind? Not necessarily contests, but creative challenges?

Ideas and Future Requests shall rise again.
