    That can be helpful, but when farming it is not necessary and will definitely hurt your gold profit.

    Just a reminder to everyone to post their suggestions. It is also awesome if you want to test your own compositions and post the results on here. Post a picture of the composition (see main post), and the results at the end (also in main post). Feel free to post pictures of the battle, these also are great helps.

    I tried Hogs, Archers and Minions last night, around 2000 trophies. Basically, 4 barracks on archers, one on hogs, one on minions. The idea was a farming army, so mainly the types of collector raids you find at higher trophies (i.e. collectors are fairly well guarded, often behind walls).

    The problem was not enough hogs to tank or take down defenses, and maybe too low level (mine are level 2). If I had level 4+ hogs, might have worked better, but still I suspect not enough hitpoints, and at only around 7 hogs that's not enough if they can't tank as well as a giant.

    Overall, I was underwhelamed, and have moved back to Giants, Archers and Minions (sometimes with 4-6 WB). I did mave some luck with partly-protected TH, where the hogs got at the tessla etc behind walls easier than giants would have, but again their lack of durability, and lack of numbers, was their downfall.

    p.s. I'm without spells while upgrading my spell factory, although I don't think that's a big deal as I'm mainly farming and would not typically use spells with these kinds of troops, except maybe a lightning if 25+ archers unexpectedly pop out of the CC...

    Here's a thought for you guys.

    I only have 1 barracks that can make PEKKAS and I'm wondering about an army composition that has a PEKKA compliment, but not heavy on them (as only 1 barracks currently can make her).
    So really, whatever you think? The goal is a fun army, not really for trophies or resources specifically. I just want to have a good time



    Also a second idea:
    All girl army? Archers, healers, pekka, valks?

    Sounds dodgy, the archers are easily taken out by splash damage, so you'll have to pick a base with weak splash to give your archers a chance i.e. one where a single shot from a wiz tower / mortar won't kill a whole bunch before they can get healed. Or if you plan on a single pekka with two healers to keep it alive, well a single pekka is easily killed by concentrated point-fire, even with a couple of healers on it... By all means experiment, but I think this kind of one has been tested ages ago on youtube and found lacking...

    What do you recommend? Three healers? I feel two would be enough to keep the big girl alive. But maybe three would be better? Tell me what you think.
