Clan War Matchmaking Improvements

No, they have not.

Matchmaking is still awful. My clan with 3 th11s, one of them near max, was matched up against a clan that had none. I'm glad you guys are finally doing something about this more directly.

Yes and no. The parameters of the game are the parameters of the game. Meaning, a clan is composed of too many variables to make war match be equal across the boards. You can lessen the abusive defenseless engineering. But most are under the impression that MM can be modified to give fair wars to clans that have opted to max a TH as they move up. THIS, will never happen. It can't.

Engineering is the ONLY way to NOT get unfair wars. A maxed based is perfectly balanced per the game. A non maxed maxed base is not. There are non maxed bases in the game. <------- this is why.

To add to this, i'd say the ratio of maxed bases to non maxed bases is about 5% to 95% so sc better be very carfull with whatever they do

We were on a 5 streak, them on 4.

Is 5 the magic number where they start allowing big weight disadvantages? Cos the clan on a 4 streak found themselves in an 'un-losable' match, which does rather go against the point they're making.

I would have to agree here. My clan has had 5 win streak many times, but, we can't seem to get #6. Always a mismatch. We are currently on a 5 win streak and yet another horrible matchup.

Us: 2 th10s, 5 th9s, 3 th8s.
Them: 3 th10s, 3 th9s, 1 th11 sitting at #6, 2 th8s, 1 th7.

Can say that the MM 2.0 is not rolled out yet. If it was, I'm walking away. Our new match is not much different then what the old MM would have deemed acceptable.

Coming off a nice even war in which we lost (in fact, we had 3 even matches in a row), we are back to a terrible match vs a completely engineered clan. We might still win, because their TH11's look incompetent, but it's still not fun seeing 6 TH11's vs our 1.

When are they going to roll this out?

Yeah, sounds about right, coming of a second loss to another engineered clan who had 5 th11's to our 2 and a 9 win streak (we had a streak of 0), we are facing a clan with 6 th11's to our 3 and they are on a 3 win streak. We of course are now on a 2 loss streak. They have the same amount of defense (if you don't count the th11 at the bottom of the map with 1 cannon and lvl 4 hounds and lvl 7 loons and of course a warden), but twice the top shelf offense. Here's to hoping they are bad attackers!
