    Yet again a very fair match up top. 2xTH11, 1 TH10, & 2xTH9 (top 5 in a 10vs10 war) all matched very evenly & quickly.

    Make each Townhalls war weight start at TH-1 max weight. After said TH makes things beyond previous max TH can make does it increase.

    Incredibly simple, still allows for tweaking within the same townhall for perfectly acceptable slight advantages .5s give etc. It hurts rushers A LITTLE but not overly much, easily recoverable. And it doesn't force maxing, just weighs bases appropriately for their ability to wage war. Is it absolutely perfect? No... but it is vastly superior to what we have and sounds pretty easy to code.
    Yea I agree with this guy. Since the MM update I've had to fight more engineered clans on wars than before. If anything it's made it slightly worse. My clan has 2 8.5s. And a couple of catching up bases but hardly rushed at all. No reason I can see why we would be pitched against hard engineered clans with 1 cannon and max troops. ADD WEIGHT TO THE TH!!!!

    We played two wars after the new mm update,both were good competitive tough wars,we won the 1st war and also winning the 2nd with 4 hours left,both by a close margin.So we are enjoying wars so much like never before.Our clan is a new lvl 8 clan.This would be our 133rd win and winning streak will move to 5 after this war.Our best winning streak ever is 11.And we are a maxer clan.

    The colour of the TH, in itself adds no incremental value to war weight, it's the offensive items built/upgraded at that TH11 that matter!

    It would still be the whole clans weight that would count, so I don’t think it would be that harmful. It works for multiplayer, so why not in war?

    No one would disagree what most are asking for is that Th11 with Th11 offense to match other Th11’s.

    I don’t even agree with Th-1 weight structure. Match the Town Halls the slight disadvantage you have as a fresh TH level is less then 30 days

    It does not have to be the first check but overall there should be effort put in the algorithm to say team 1 3 th11, 5 th10, 14 th9. Team 2 7 Th11, 8 th10, 5 th9 no match

    It should not matter what the defense/ offense levels are if a match shows up like this.

    As I said my last war was 4 th11 v 10th11 that’s a no match in my opinion

    In my opinion adding weight to town hall would be great! MY SOLID NON RUSHED TEAM Is on it's way to loosing. Are 4th in a row. All because of poor match ups against. Engineer teams. Now let's no act like we don't know what's going on! Teams are building a certain way to gain huge advantages. And Supercell and others dress it up with different words than what it is. Me and my team Are considering not to war after this one till we see what the update does to fix the issues AND ITS A ISSUE. Adding weight to town hall would in my opinion put a ADVANTAGE SEEKING ENGINEER TH11 VS A LEGIT TH11... OR AT LEAST A TH10 ..That's what they are right?? We call them half bases and 10.5s NO your town hall is who You are. SO IN MY OPINION IF u can't match them up with another engineer team then MATCH THEM WITH WHO THEY ARE AND STOP PENALIZING THOSE WHO SPEND MONEY AND TAKE TIME TO MAX OUT THERE TOWN HALL.. I SPEND CASH ON MY SELF AND MY TEAM. I GIVE TIME TO BOTH. AND ITS ABOUT TO STOP. SUPERCELL IT BEHOVES YOU TO HELP THE COMMUNITY WE NEED YOU.

    Just chiming in real quick about matchmaking. I didn't and won't have time to read the 200+ pages here, I just need to share my clan's perspective on this latest matchmaking fiasco since our main clan has ceased all war effort until improvements are made. All members still active have moved to the sister clan where track record is not important just to get the war stars rolling for our achievement.

    As it stands, all our matches since the so-called balancing changes have been against ultra engineered chinese clans with 11s and 10s all the way down the map with at least one maxed offensive strat to boot. This was absolutely not the case prior to the changes where we'd match against those kind maybe once or twice every few months.

    I would do a proper formal analysis of our matchups, but I would only be able to compare defense weight and that would be far from accurate, so I am stuck just sending out a "Recheck your algorithms" cry here.

    Either you let your community know the exact weight values for both defensive and offensive upgrades so we can help you find a way to balance things out, or you continue to keep it a state secret and wave off the rage of the vocal minority of users that have a forum account to complain about it.

    There are a few other games which I play that allow the user to rate his matchups; I would suggest a similar implementation for clash where the clan leader could rate his clan matchup so that it flags the war on the server's database. Its just 2 integer fields (one for each clan) and 1 extra GUI button or combobox on the war page accessible only by clan leader and/or co-leads. This would give you an important insight on the definition the users have for a fair match.

    We are currently in a 30x30 war, my team consists of 30 th11's all maxed.

    Our current enemy has no23 a th11 with a lvl1 eagle and defenses of a th10, no 24 till 28 are th10's not maxed, no29 is a th9 and no30 is a th8.

    I don't complain for my team, but the opponents must hate this new algorithm.

    Great job SC. @#$%!

    Ok war matchup score in 15 minutes. 3 th11s 2maxed and 1 just went to th11. Our score was 7 th11s! What a wonderful job SC only the 2nd war in a row like this. Awesome job keep up the great work. Oh it's 15vs15 so do the math and know the results.
